Hola me podrías decir q pegamento utilizaste para cellar bien el glass así no le entra agua por favor.. Acá en mi ciudad no me lo quieren cambiar pq según a los q les averigüe ninguno me da la garantía de q el celular puede sumergirse de nuevo.. Y no quiero q esta certificación se pierda.. Te agradeciera mucho.. Espero tu respuesta

After heating, should you use tape on the glass a bit smaller than the glass so no bit of glass get dropped everywhere?

I've been fighting with LG for the exact same thing. Gave up and now have a replacement glass I will fit today. Really quite shit that LG won't admit that this is a manufacturing fault.

My screen also cracked without ever dropping it, as far as I could tell. LG wanted $150 to replace it. I ordered the replacement lens from WitRigs. Didn't get the card or the knife. It probably took about a month to receive it. I used a hair dryer in place of the heat gun. Used a box cutter and a playing card to pry up the old glass. The adhesive was hard to separate, but I got it eventually. The new glass doesn't sit flush with the back of the camera, but that's not a problem for me. The camera is finally usable again, thank goodness.

I just got mt g6 becuase my g4 wwnt into a boot loop and the camera glass is scratched I have a simple case on it but all I do with it is just take it out of my pocket the wide angle lens is blurry af

which one is the tempered glass? the custom ones on the website don't say the exact material

The easiest way to get the glass off is to superglue the back of a thumbtack to the glass and heat it with a hairdryer. just pull up a bit and get a knife under it when it pops up. Super easy, just did mine.

So put the hairdryer on hot and keep it heated for how long would you say? My G6 is the same - no drop. Just discovered it cracked - only two months old.

I believe heating it to 80° for 2 minutes helped made it waterproof again sealing it correctly

Repaired the lens cover a few weeks ago. The "sharp" knife and card that you can order with the replacement lens where pretty useless... however the replacement lens cover fit well and seems higher quality than the pos stock one.

I have no idea, perhaps someone can find a machine to polish the glass, but that may create more scratch.. I think the only way is to replacing the camera glass.
