@simonmayson2513 I would say yes, absolutely. I have the LE5900 47" and whilst everything else is fine except for some motion blur issues - the set is badly let down by edge lighting intrusion which is very noticable during darker images and screens. This has been underlined by reviews of this series, whilst the 8900 has been universally praised as LG's best set ever. shame I couldn't afford one.
