''Change the way you watch TV''. Or maybe just change your TV?. Given the way dialogue suddenly stopped when we got down to the nitty-gritty issue of an underperforming set and what I percieve to be design shortcomings. Life's Good....customer relations...that's another thing.

@LGBlogUK Obviously it is turned on. It's an LED LCD with all the supposed advantages of that type of system...as promised..? Improved picture quality and performance enabled by the advances in LED technology. Otherwise, it's an LCD. In this series of models can the LED system not function without an irritating ammount of light intrusion? I find it irritating on my 5900 47'' at least. Perhaps it should not have been introduced on this series as it cannot perform to an adequate standard.

Does the 55'' suffer from the same edge lighting issues as the 47''? Great TV, but let down badly by ''beams and swathes'' of light during darker screens and passages.

@LGBlogUK ''We do indeed''...what? Check once a fortnight or a month perhaps then,..then what.. Is the problem replying to what the customer has to say or do I hear the sound of a carpet being lifted up and something being brushed under as you casually whistle.

I wonder does anyone from LG ever read any customer comments to their posting of these things. Or do they even care?

@LGBlogUK Hello and yes. Swathes and beams of light coming from the edge of the screen. It can be most irritating and does draw comment from other viewers. Bit embarrassing really. Lets the set down.
