LG made worlds first oled display, lg's oled display have WRGB(white red green blue) where samsungs have RGB and LG's display is 4mm thin, where samsungs is more than double the thickness of LG. LG's OLED was Best of the show at CES 2012. IF someone is copying then it would be Samsung copying LG.

I'd happily pay £10k for it, but one problem LG... Where the hell is it? Still not for sale...

4k or 8k is useless. 1080p is sharp, crisp, and detailed enough. What displays are lacking right now are good colours, contrasts, black and white levels, etc.. Not to mention the blur, ghosting, and delay of the picture displayed on the screen. OLED is suppose to correct all the afformentionned issues with current LCD technology. Only a fool would choose a 4k display over an OLED one.

lol i just laugh at your comment.Samsung is the world's largest OLED panel manufacturer in 2004 while LG was focus on other until 2010 the news about LG produce Oled was announce.i just like oled panel and following news of oled and i didn't hear news about lg oled i just hear only samsung sony,UD.and The company that made oled is not both samsung or lg.LG just resolve the problem of short lifespan of blue subpixel in a wrong way that why lg use white subpixel.wikipedia bros. read it
