Will the lmv1746st fit into bracket for lmv1683st?

My LG Microwave LMV1762 came with the blower motor already in Recert position, not roof venting default as it states in the video. Also, the mounting bracket is not located on the back of the Microwave but loosely packed in the carton.

Mine came default configuration for roof vent.

What can I do when there's a cement wall blocking me from putting the long screws for the racket

We have a dry wall but beyond that there's cement and the screws wont reach far bc of the cement

Yadriel Cruz you live in a semi? If so that’s the divider, use a concrete drill and concrete screws. It’ll be a pain, but that bracket will be insanely secure, your microwave won’t be going anywhere.

Was thinking exactly this. I live in a condo and the wall my microwave will be sitting against is concrete as well, so I guess it'll be safe to drill and use tapcons

Rear /top vent baffle..... be sure it moves freely. They way LG has it configured the baffle will not open. You need to bend the taps to allow it function properly. I wonder how many were installed improperly 🤔

Does anyone know how to fix the extend a vent when it stops extending as it did when it was new? It is only 2 years old. Thanks in advance

The audible signals that are available on the #LMV1683ST to guide you when setting & using the oven cannot be turned off...^Ivan

Really? could not find a roof vent that was not all bent? Video content was great, but execution with prestine parts failed.

Did you mean the rectangular exhaust adapter ? Because a roof vent actually gets installed on the roof, which isn't provided by LG.

Just an FYI, but you should ONLY use the lag screws if you're fastening the bracket to wooden studs. If you have metal studs in your walls use a sheet metal screw with a washer instead

be careful with your model. mine fits in the 30 inch opening, but then you cant open the microwave door. it hits the side cabinet. i had to cut the cabinet just so i could open the microwave door. thats why this thing is on sale at the big box stores etc. buyer beware. if you flush mount this microwave against the wall as they instruct you to, it will not open when installed next to normal wall mounted cabinets. i cut my cabinet because i missed the return date, ruining a brand new cabinet. not to mention the hassle of taking just a portion of a mounted cabinet out. brutal design.
