Same problem occurred in my LG tv ( model : 43um7780) two horizontal lines flickering. I contacted LG customer care, they told to change the display. Then, I followed your technique and solved the problem. Am very happy now it's working properly . Many thanks for this video😊. You saved me from buying new tv 🙏🙏. But i just want to know whether this technique last longer ?. By blocking clock signals, any other kind of issues will occur in future?

Worked for me like a charm, only there's a slight difference in colour in a particular area which is almost negligible, i am overall happy 🥳. Had no thermal tape so used scotch tape, hope it stays 😅

Thanks, possible it works, please try to isolate which portion of the panel is defective then try to locate clock signal then follow my approach

Thanks, actually the led panel has internal breakdown in the gate cof we cannot avoid that but this is the remedy for that problem in which we can maximize the function of the unit

by sticking musking tape, to isolating line, how flickering effect has gone. on checking voltages are ok,by testing with multi meter. if so why they have given additional circuit line. please reply, with Regards.

Yes, by isolating the clock signal going to the defective gate COF, by doing that it solves the problem of the panel

Isolate first the defective portion of the then block the clock data signal, they are in parallel connection, thanks

Hi ask ko lang po. Nag flicker po tv ko every 15s pero saglit lang sya. Nakita ko na yung sa pins ng ribbon cable from the screen to the tcon board ay may mga tuklap na gold contacts. Yun kaya possible defect?
