I show you how to do a firmware (system) update on your LG Smart TV. If the update is greyed out then select TV from sources not hdmi) then go back and try again. Need helps just ask. thanks.

Dude, nice video. You don’t have to scroll down all the way to the bottom to get alt settings. Just hit the up arrow while at the top and it will go to the bottom.

Is there a way to set up wireless headphones to this tv? You'd think it'd be possible but apparently not. We've tried 2 different modern headphones for my dad but apparently it is possible.. whether through Bluetooth or not.. help?

I tried this several times and it says that there is no update available but their website lists a more current firmware version. So I downloaded those files and tried to install them manually via USB, but when I insert the USB it only gives me Photo, Music, or Video choices and no options to access files.

I had exactly the same issue, to make it work you must extract/unzip the firmware update file. Folder on the USB drive must be named "LG_DTV". You should get a prompt once you put in the USB drive, and switch the TV on. Took me a while to get this to work, very frustrating, would recommend Samsung over LG TV's they just work without any issues. Good luck
