Abner Chilson the only thing i didn't like was the screen and how the power button was on the fingerprint scanner so I got the note instead

my daughter put my lg g4 on bathtube. . for 3 hours. . but i have to say that phone was great. . after 3 hour on water. . only Put on sunshine for 30minutes.. and i start again. . its still work until now. . still i can watching youtube. . haha. . only problem battery's drain fast. .

I have a simple LGK7. Nothing fancy. But it does the Trix. However when I am. Making phone calls and the other end answers I get a very weird Growling noise coming from the other end. But the other party can hear me perfectly clear. However I am unable to here anything except the Growling. Can you Please help. Sharlett

I think you are straying from the fact that your argument is not even about the V30. If these small drawbacks are considered to make a brand pure garbage then Samsung is the Korean ISIS and Apple is the highly advanced Leap Frog. Try to use a objective view next time, instead of a fuckboy attitude.

This is a clear advantage for the LG. It has drop resistance (mill certificate). It would have been the CLEAR winner for 2017 if it had a better selfie cam and a slightly better screen (it's not as bad as the Pixel 2XL)

The AOD display problem you had, would be down to the ambient light sensor not working correctly. If the ambient light sensor is covered on my phone, the AOD is disabled, and I cannot unlock it - the same on the G6.

Michael Adel marketing. LG is not Samsung's competitor, Apple is. Therefore it's obvious that Samsung wants to go toe to toe with Apple in the camera department and doesn't care about LG's features since LG phones aren't as well known as iPhones and don't even sell in large quantities. Even if the wide angle lens is better it's not as appealing to the masses as the iPhone's portrait mode and Samsung does not want to fall behind in the public eye.

Trans1000 no they are not. LG is nothing to Samsung. Samsung's competitors are Apple in America and some of Europe and Huawei in the rest of the world. LG is nothing to Samsung because they practically have no market share. It's not in Samsung's best interest to compete with them because whatever little market share they could get from LG would be insignificant.

V30's back is very stronger than the Note 8's glass back. But Note 8's front gets very less damages compared to the V30 in front drop.And that is more important.

Priyabrata Saha if you look at the front drop test again the V30 fell completely flat on its face while the Note 8 kinda rattled absorbing some of the shock. This is why the Note 8 had less damage because the drop test on the Note 8 for whatever reason wasn't perfect.

The glass breaking had nothing to do with the camera not working. The impact of the phone is what caused it. I don't care what case you have, your phone will always experience some sort of shock when hitting the ground, and I would much rather have a phone that has functional parts after I drop it. I'm not saying the Note 8 is a bad phone, I'm just saying that the V30 is more durable.

i regret not using one now I dropped by 6s plus in the nightclub the other night and the floor just happened to be concrete where i was standing (beside the Dj) It fell and looks like it hit the side but the whole screen is smashed to bits and the lcd has black dots all over it. You should do the drop test with screen protectors so we can see how strong a naked phone can be without a case just the screen protectors. Pretty much most people have screen protectors because we think it is a good protection but is it?

The proximity sensor gets damaged , so the screen won't turn on as it checks for sensor , much like pocket detection to come back on from Always on Display mode.

My v30's back broke from its first drop...... And it was from my lap to the ground (ceramic) ... The sides also got a bit damaged... I only had it for a month at that time😢

I never dropped my v30 once and somehow the back is scratched up on the bottom left and right edges and a sharp cut at the top left. Never dropped on the back. Idek
