samsung could do even better if apps were better optimized, but unfortunately, android is such a wide ecosystem of os distros that it'd be impossible for companies to hire app devs to make specific optimization updates for random low end models of random android manufacturers, which is why they make unoptimized but widely supported updates for android devices, from personal experience pixel phones usually run best as it is basically the purest android experience, but i could be wrong, i don't have 500 phones like reviewers do
