@@ChigzTech I want to get your advice and opinion.I don't want to pay too much.I do think both are great.I like the Sony since is loud.The bass is good.On the LG end the bass can be alittle loud with alittle bit of vocals.That is where both come to final decision.I want something with really good bass,vocals and good charge.Something to last longer since i'm using it for walking on the go to the college campus,for a bluetooth projector,lap top for viewing movies on bass.I'm really nervous want my moneys worth so that i won't have to return it to get a better one.As long as it works great and to put on the side part of the backpack.I'm looking to the size and price.

Chigz Tech Reviews : Very good comparison test between the LG XBOOM GO PK5 vs SONY SRS XB32 with the Sony achieving a good full range of sounds …… from the thumping low bass to the high end tweeter range of sounds , although in a slight metallic -tin sounding case ! The LG on the other hand has been tuned for an overall mid-range warmth sound , with the high end missing in the overall sound that is superbly powered by BASS pounding woofers !!! Depends now on the type of music one listens too , to pick either of these excellent speakers , due to price differential the LG XBOOM GO PK5 would be my pick ! Thanks Scarboro

As soon as I saw the title I knew my favorite was going to be the LG XBOOM. They look awesome and sound fantastic. Both good but LG wins it easily from me

I bought the LG speaker on Black Friday. I returned it a few weeks later and got the Sony instead. The Sony sounds 100% better.

please we wanna see a FULL COMPARISON between LG PK5 xboom and Anker soundcore motion + ...which is the better specs, features, quality, buy etc.? However its a pity none of them have microSD card with full function mp3 as an added feature which would make it a more complete wireless portable speaker.

Was the LG on the newer Firmware update coz that dramatically improves the audio output. I have the Sony SRS XB30 and it has great sound, i have heard the newer Sonys don't sound as good because of the extra water proofing mudding the sound quality.

Nice review ! it's a difficult choice using both subjective, & objective, appraisals - it would sound different depending on personal audio KZfaq playback devices ? I have been very impressed by the LG xboom speakers but Sony seems louder, crisp, and clear sound. It has enough bass for me but both are excellent 👍👍👍 nice comparison Chigz

I love the eyes, always have, you know, the ones on the speakers! 😉 LG is my choice, for now but I'll probably change my mind too. 😂

I like the LG Bluetooth speaker because of its larger capacity battery of 5,200mAh; however, Sony's capability to connect to up to 100 other bluetooth speakers caught my attention. I really wanted LG to come on top but since I fancy numerous bluetooth speakers connectivity simultaneously, I'd definitely go with Sony. If I were to buy LG's speaker and wanted to connect more than 2 other speakers to the main one, that wouldn't be possible. Both speakers' ambient colorful lights make them even more appealing.

I had the LG boom but unfortunately I returned it because it just was great sound but just not loud enough so I went and bought the Sony and it sounds much louder. It satisfies me at the maximum level it goes to plus the battery is better.

It all depends on the device playing the song. If the phone has different sound output the speaker won't 0lay as good

First off I'm not loyal to any name brand. I always enjoyed Sony products, however, LG isn't some new upstart either and makes very good gear. As a former sound engineer and just hearing the two side by side, the LG sounds cleaner than the Sony, but the Sony is louder and offers extra connection options...Plus the ability to charge other USB devices. Personally I'm in the market for a new portable Bluetooth speaker with nothing less then a total 20 Watts. So I will consider these two contenders.

@Mr Dominic Yeah man... i couldnt find one online even if i want to buy one. Im currently owning a sony xb40. it does not have tweeters which is a let down. I hope i can buy a lg next time. Jbl xtreme is too expensive in my country. Tweeters do make difference.

xb32 is junk compared to xb30 and 31, those are much stronger and good material, and good sound, this xb32 is realy downgrade...but all those LGs are weak, PK7 for instance is very weak compared to XB40! (lg gives 30% less sound when driving on battery)
