Ever since I started dreaming the van life, I have taken a high interest in batteries, LifPo4 to be exact. I like the way and the environment you tested this battery. Whenever well price batteries I always youtube them to see if they are any good. I think after all this time, you have made up my mind. Thank you

This is the perfect answer to kayak/canoe fishing. I have a LiTime 100ah now for my trolling motor in my kayak and jon boat, but I'll probably get this one because of the size.

@@crackericeproductions My 100AH lasts a really long time. I have a 55lb thrust Motorguide. On my kayak I've fished for hours a traveled long distances and it barely uses any of the battery energy up.. I also have a16ft aluminum boat that we added wood floor and front deck on. In electric only lakes and a local river/creek system I fish, I'll go a few miles and fish all day, even in wind, and usually have 40-60% battery life remaining when I finish. Definately a worthwhile investment.

I just bought 4 of these I didn’t see your video until now. Will update my progress. Also purchased the 3000 watt Rego inverter/charger, renogy smart shunt, the renogy one core and 40 amp Renogy mppt . Doing this install when it warms up. Making all my own cables can’t wait. Everything is sitting in my basement. I wonder if I can hook everything up as a trial run without the ac side of the (shore power and fuse panel) inverter,do you think it would damage anything. This will also give me a chance to connect to the DC home app and the renogy one core.

No I don’t think it would damage anything as long as you do it properly. I would probably hold off on cutting any wires until you have all the components mounted in the correct location so you can cut the wiring to the current length.

@@madetoexplore I definitely will hold off on cutting the wire. I’m going to cut some plywood to size and cover it with grey speaker fabric. Also reinforce the shelf that my batteries will sit on. You spend so much money on everything want to make sure I do it right. I can’t believe that cost of copper wire almost $1000 there. In the next few months I will also purchase a 50 amp DC to DC charger with MPPT and 2X200watt portable solar panels.Im trying to stay away from putting anything on the roof until next year, get a feel on how everything works this year and spread out the cost a bit. Thanks for all your videos. I’m from Red Lake in North Western Ontario.

Been a couple days, hooked up one 100ah battery gust to run a test to make sure everything is running properly. I am using 4/0 cable to battery and 400 amp fuse coming off battery. I hooked up the input side of AC (shore power) with an old extension cord cut off. The first day of testing everything worked great but now when I disconnect shore power the inverter charger shuts down and the only way to fix it is to disconnect the battery. Have you herd of this before? Batteries are full as well. Thanks @@madetoexplore

The battery has the upper part bigger than the body. Does the size measurement includes that part? I have just the room advertised, i do not know if that part of the case is included in the measurement. Anyone knows the total size?

Yes, i believe this is included. All the measurements taken should be at the widest point.

Looks like both these batteries are on sale right now. The mini is $10 more. Is there ANY real differences/advantages in going with the Mini other than size/weight?! Or is it a no brainer and I should go with the Mini?!

Well u cant really compare size regular size vs mini. I was hoping ud compare with the power queen mini. Thb I think they ALL the same (made in same factory)

Can you run a 2000 watt inverter off that single Li Time 100ah battery?

Yeah but not at the full 2000w. This battery has a max. Continuous Discharge of 100 amps so the inverter should only run at about 1200w

the main reason the other batteries are larger is so that they will fit in existing battery boxes and holders designed for flooded/agm lead-acid batteries like group 24, 27, 4d, 8d, gc2 etc. it doesn't have anything to do with advanced technology or better design.

I have had great customer support from Li Time. They contacted me to confirm delivery and help with any questions several times now. ??? ( I did buy 4 minis)
