I agree, I just don’t think he could bring himself to acknowledge Liam’s popularity and success. I do however, think that if it was the other way round, Liam would applaud Noel, probably with a witty backhanded compliment.

@@ducoh2093 I searched for that and yes I think he might be up for a one off but would Liam.? Noel said Oasis sells more Oasis records now than they did at the peak Noel seemed to be happy with life but talked about getting older.

Certain songs his broken voice worked on, I.e I'm Outta Time - but it was awful, so glad he's found it again.

For me, its actual level is somewhat close to Don't Believe the Truth era. His voice is better indeed, but still far from his best, during Morning Glory to Be Here Now days. Anyway, playing this song live was a great deed, and his performance was much better than many would expect (including me).

@@badgasaurus4211 I know it's half tone down. But that doesn't change very much. The highest note of the song will be G4 instead of G#4. He used to hit that note more easily (his limit, as far as I know, was A5, in songs as My Big Mouth and Some Might Say), but his voice had been worsening from 2000 onwards. He improved his voice quality comparing to that period (2000 to 2020), although it's still not the same. We can notice that he still doesn't sing the high notes perfectly.

@@kebarzivo I actually agree, tbh, I think every song should be dropped a whole tone so that F#4 or G4 at an absolute maximum is the highest note. He has no business writing songs with G#4 as the high note because he can’t replicate it live

I have to watch this at least once a week, I couldn’t believe my ears when I was there. The power of the backing singers and Liam’s vocals almost knocked me off of my feet. Like nothing I’ve ever felt before.

Sounds much better than the studio version. Has a lot more power to it and it has benefited from the changes in his singing style compared to the 2000s.

Liam is a true National Treasure, he really does now how to get everyone going and makes it look so effortless. He is a one off and I think we’re lucky to still have him around. His ‘no frills’ attitude is so refreshing these days.

Yes and an official recording live not the usual KZfaq phones. Liam spends a lot of time sending hand signals to the sound man so it’s all in balance with the band they sound amazing. Credit to the song writer Noel he must be impressed with this performance 💙

One thing I’ve always liked about Liam is that he stands by Oasis’ underperforming work and says he is proud of it. Be Here Now and Standing on the Shoulders of Giants were not perfect works but there are fantastic songs on them and while Noel has abandoned them Liam takes ownership of them.

My friend took hes life at Knebworth.Its hard to go there.I went to see Oasis but couldnt go back to see this ledge so i could hear it from where my house was.
