Caring isn't just Ed's story, it's the story of millions, caring for each other, dealing with tough times, and keeping going with love.
The Liberal Democrats will be the voice of carers every day, fighting their corner in Parliament.

Ed's Story is that he took a knighthood as a reward for putting the Tories in power. He's now using his family to make himself look more human. The problem with politics is too many people like Ed Davey and the sooner he is out of it the better.

This is absolutely fantastically honest and open. The best thing the Lib Dem’s have ever done. I’m a father of a disabled daughter (she is autistic). I gave up my job as a teaching assistant in a autism resource base because the pay at £60 a day wasn't keeping up. A good man. I am the father of a young lady who has Down Syndrome. My wife and I are worried about what will happen if we go before her. She is our world. She had open heart surgery when she was 3 and now has a pacemaker. She is bright and beautiful but very vulnerable. It’s hard looking after a vulnerable person and my wife and I don’t have a very good support network, it’s mum dad and our daughter. I work full time and my wife works part time and we work our responsibilities around our shifts. Our daughter is now 22 and she goes to provision for two days and a SEN college for two days and has a day at home. It’s is challenging but it we love and cherish her but we do worry for the future.

It is great that they are using this election campaign to shine a light on such important issues. As a carer myself, it is nice to feel represented and included. To feel appreciated for the role we play in society - as opposed to the carer's allowance scandal that is currently being investigated. Martin Lewis directly asked Jeremy Hunt about it and he dodged the question and started talking about child benefit. I don't know where the Tory party got the idea that they could just answer any difficult question with something unrelated, I'm so exhausted by it, I hope the results of this election campaign show them, and all politicians that we are not idiots and we can see right through that tactic - especially when it has been used ad nauseum.

“Nobody will be able to care for our son like we do”. No other party has been so clear on the need to create a fit for purpose national approach to care and support of carers. You will either need care in your life, or be a carer, or both.

how amazing it is to have a political leader who has actually knows what carers are actually up against, with this personal experience he has the knowledge to know what government can practically do to help, no ideology but proper solid practical help

Fabulous video - my dream would be that in every constituency where the Lib Dems were second last time to Tories the other progressive parties lend them their votes so that selfish toryism is defeated.

Everyone is saying, "we want change". Well here are your options, people 1. Sunak - Investment Banker 2. Starmer - Barrister 3. Farage - City of London stockbroker, 4. Davey - economic researcher and Carer 5. Denyer - Green Energy professional 2 of these are not like the others. Put your money where you mouth is. If you want actual change, vote for something different

Johnson, Trust, Braverman, Mogg..... compare and contrast. Very moving. We need more real people in politics and a lot fewer public schoolboys without a shadow of a clue.

in an election that feels frankly at this point what shade of tory would you like its nice to see a party trying to reform their image and offer a realistic opposition to what is going to be (in all likelyhood) a starmer supramajority, im still on the fence about who i will vote for in this one, its certainly not gonna be blue (not even once kids) nor shall it be starmers go with the tide mess, LD may have me one over lads, time will tell
