Recopilacion de informacion que circula en los grupos de telegram. Gracias a Cloud e Ivan por su trabajo. Cambio de región del patinete, la versíon DE esta limitada a 20Km/h, la EU a 25Km/h y la US esta limitada a 32Km/h. No me hago responsable de nada de lo que hagais con esta información, todo lo que hagais es responsabilidad vuestra. Entre otras cosas podriais perder la granatia e incluso podiais ser baneados de la app. Yo lo he probado con exito, pero avisados estais.
Es incierto cuanto tiempo a a funcionar este metodo, asi que si llegas tarde es posible que ya no funcione.

Muchas gracias por el video. Puedo corroborar que funciona. Eso sí, tened en cuenta que la velocidad máxima irá en función del modelo y sus especificaciones. El mío es KQi3 Sport y su v max es 28 km/h, que contrastado con GPS son unos 26 reales. El KQi3 Pro llega a 32 km (20 MPH) y el Max llega hasta 38 km/h. Muchas gracias por el trabajo.

Hello. Thank you @Camilo for the video. I have KQI3 Pro EU version, I flashed it with the KQI3 MAX FW and set the custom mode to 38km/h and it runs 38km/h only in custom mode on, when the battery is fully charged and wheel is lifted from the ground. Sadly I cant test it on the streets, because it's winter in Lithuania right now :) Hope it will help someone. Cheers ;)

looks like a hard limit, the max can reach 38 with the lifted wheel but will reach 35 or less depending on the battery left and your weight. It is a hardware limit

update! everything works great, make sure u install the US one if u want to go over 25km/h. My KQI 2 pro now goes 28km/h and im very happy with it. thanks again for the amazing video dude

Just tried on a DE KQi2 and worked fine! The max speed I can set in the app is 28kph, although comparing to GPS data the real speed is more like 25~26kph. Also, I did another firmware update after switching back to the official app and it also worked fine.

Hola Camilo ojalá pudieras subir un vídeo usando el programa gd32rec_conejo para reparar las controladoras 3.1 Un vídeo del proceso, por más que trato mis drv se quedan full Brick Se les quita el error 27 y 35 pero solo eso, puede ser cuestión de PC pero quisiera saber que drivers tal cual necesito, mi st link funciona porque aparece en st link utility y tengo Open cd, etc. Ya he usado m365 rec y más con éxito. Pero acá no doy (Tengo srec_cat también)

Solo tienes que recordar el origen del patinete, si es EU, seleccionas el json de EU e instalas el firmware. En cuanto al downgrade, es posible, pero siempre hay riesgo que cambien algo y falle.

Funciona!! Muy buen video Camilo! Tienes un nuevo seguidor! Por cierto sabrías como acceder a reiniciarlo de fábrica? O reiniciarlo? Todo esto de manera interna, ya que se me quedo totalmente muerto hace un tiempo (que no encendía de ninguna manera) y lo lleve al servicio técnico y por lo visto consiguieron que arrancara reiniciándolo varias veces, todo esto sin móvil ni nada, debe haber alguna manera de hacerlo. Lo pregunto porque en el servicio técnico tampoco me quisieron decir como hacerlo y claro si me vuelve a pasar me gustaría saber como hacerlo, aparte por el tiempo que llevo viendo por grupos y foros es un problema que pasa más de lo que pensamos. En mi caso tengo una version pro. Muchas gracias por todo de todas formas! Gran trabajo!

Si el voltaje baja mucho la batería corta y no deja ni cargar ni encender. No te sabria decir como lo han hecho en el SAT. Posiblemente conectaron el cargador y al reiniciar dejaría pasar un poco de carga hasta que sube el voltaje lo suficiente. Pero no lo se con certeza

no, the idea is to change region. The unresticted version is the US, therefore you might want to flash it to unlock the scooter.

Hola, 910 es una versión extraña, ¿quizás hayas cambiado la pantalla recientemente?. En todo caso si por Bluetooth no logras flashear prueba por cable con stlink

Tengo un KQi 3 Pro sin firmware update desde cuando lo compre. Cada vez que le digo Yes al firmware update me pone un mensaje de que se perdio la connection Bluetooth y ya después de eso no me permite conectar con el patin más... hasta que limpio caché y los datos de la app en sí. Espero que hay una solución porque tengo muchas ganas también de poder delimitar lo

Hola Señor, Creo que cometí un error en la secuencia que provocó que el soporte de NIU reiniciara el tablero de forma remota, después de lo cual la conexión Bluetooth dejó de funcionar. ¿¡Es posible que este firmware 4.8.12 funcione en los últimos modelos debido a la actualización forzada por lo que la aplicación 4.8.12 ya no funciona!??! ¿Puedes decirme el pedido nuevamente? De lo contrario, desinstalaría la aplicación actual, luego instalaría y configuraría la aplicación 4.8.12 para Alemania. Después de eso no sabría exactamente qué hacer. ¿¡Puedes decirme nuevamente qué hacer a partir de ese momento!??! Muchas gracias y saludos desde Frankfurt..

I just received a prompt for firmware update (USA) showing an update to the FOC (controller) from K3E13J23, to K3E13J25. I have not installed it yet because "J23" update hurt the torque/acceleration performance in a noticeable way, and we already know that the factory NIU app does not allow people any choice to return to previous firmwares. It definitely makes many people worried about doing Updates. I'm still waiting for feedback from other people before I decide to install this new K3E13J25 update

Una consulta @Camilo : después de 5 meses de uso de mi KQi3 PRO versión EU con firmware US flasheado gracias a ti ❤, tengo una avería de hardware en el ascelerador -el "error 03", habitual en los KQi3 por avería en dicho componente. Mi pregunta es, ¿Si vuelvo a flashear la versión EU y lo envío al servicio técnico para que lo reparen, tendré algún problema con la cobertura de la garantía? ¿El número de serie, bastidor y batería originales seguirán siendo los mismos? ¿O es que debo proceder de alguna manera diferente al volver a flashear el firmware EU del repositorio? Muchas gracias por tu ayuda.

En principio al volver a la version EU queda como al inicio, por lo que no deberian ponerte problemas para garantias

@@camialfa muchas gracias, así ha sido, pude comprobar que después de pasar a la región US ningún número de serie había cambiado, como así tampoco al volver a la región EU. Ya está enviado al SAT, al tenerlo de vuelta conmigo volveré a "americanizarlo" 😅, muchas gracias por todo!

Amplío la resolución de este tema concluyendo dos cosas: 1ro., se puede cambiar de una región a otra cuantas veces se quiera, los números de serie de motor, controladora y batería no cambiarán nunca, ni se tendrá problema alguno con las app's oficiales de Niu antiguas que permiten el arranque sin patada desde 0km/h y la activación de la velocidad crucero; y 2do., si el patinete se compró en España en la cadena de tiendas Mediamarkt, ante cualquier incidencia reparable el patinete no cuenta con servicio técnico propio de Niu sino con un SAT contratado que no dispone de piezas de recambio originales (a mí por el error 03 del ascelerador no me reemplazaron la pieza por una original, me han puesto un ascelerador genérico que ni es resistente a salpicaduras, ni es tan robusto como el original, más bien una pieza de €10 de AliExpress -lo he comprobado).

@@victorribes5512 ya son 9 meses con este patinete y no podría dejar de recomendarlo, a pesar del fallo que tuve con el acelerador que vino de serie. Lo del SAT al que lo manda MediaMarkt en caso de avería como me sucedió a mi, pues tardan el tiempo mínimo para repararlo y devolvertelo, y la pieza reemplazada -el acelerador- aguanta igual o más que la original. Yo no me arrepiento de comprarlo ni lo cambiaría por ningún otro de ese precio.

es una limitacion hardware, en vacio puede que vaya mas rapido pero contigo encima ira mas lento.

Yo lo hice y si que se puede, pero no ganas casi nada. Puedes probar sin riesgo. Pero recomiendo que le pongas el del pro que esta mas optimizado para la combinación batería, motor.

Hey Camilo! Is this still working? I bought last week a second hand KQI3 Max German version and I use it in Romania where speed limit is legally up to 25km/h. I plan to update firmware to EU version. My current firmware installed for Central Control Bluetooth is K1Q32V07; Dashboard K3A01V11; Motor Controller K3E38J23.

tecnicamente si, si en el paso de copiar el paso del json copias el de la version EU el patin te queda con el firmware de origen. Ahora, seguramente la app deje algun rastro en sus servidores

Buenas , no me funciona y he ido paso a paso. Me mandan ponerme en contacto con niu y no me deja vincular por bluetooth. La cuenta es la misma y todo . La app original la borré antes pero lo he intentado varias veces y no me deja

Siento que no te funcione. Prueba con otro movil, y asegúrate que estas usando la apk modificada.

I just installed the us firmware on my eu KQi Pro, thanks for the detailed informations. I totally understand why it is not recommended to use the native app, but still: is here anyone who is using the app after the mod? Is there any problem with using it?

si, la app oficial lo detecta como version US y deja poner la velocidad que quieras

Si, pero el sport viene muy limitado en batería/motor y no notaras muchos cambios. Lo mejor es seguir con el firmware del sport.

Yes, once you go to the us versión you can update maintaining us. 2nd cuestión you can go back, however if you make an update (I mean from an us version to a newer us version), the bootloader is updated, so it might cause problems, last time I tried, it worked but I can't guarantee it.

Dont try it, the kqi 300p and 300x have a lot of new features, so they probably have a very different firmware

Eso es por que en ajustes de la aplicación tienes el limite de velocidad puesto. Desactívalo y listo.

Hola yo tengo el kqi3 sport e instalando el firmwar ahora de vez en cuando me salta un error y se me frena el patin , hay veces que me pasa en medio de la carretera y es un poco peligroso por si sabes algo o un método de arreglo

@@camialfa probably a sloppy assembled engine and electronics elements rubbing it against the housing, that's how it was in my kqi3 pro

Es una capa de seguridad y esta en el lado del servidor de niu. no se puede hacer nada de momento. (estoy trabajando en hacer un hack por cable)

It works, however the motor and battery are smaller so the overall performance of the sport scooter is not going to be the same as the max

Can i flash the kqi3 max firmware on the kqi3 pro? To drive 38 kmh ? Because the pro firmware is limited to 32 kmh. But guys. Thx a lot for the great work!

I did it during testing, with the lifted tire it reached 38, however the scooter behaves more sluguish and only reach the 32kmh with me on top

I installed the max firmware on my Pro as well it seems to accelerate a lot faster but still has the same top speed of 32kmh with the lifted wheel and the motor has a different sounding tone 🤔. Maybe they tune them like graphics cards 😅 whereby they use a certain amount of power based on usage

Check if you are able to edit the custom mode to a higher value above 25kmh

It looks like NIU did design the scooter with 28kmh hard limit since the motor cannot go any faster with the battery voltage
