There's little in the game which can't be Full-Stopped.* (*at least until you get to Philip. Then you're better off putting the guns down.)

Let's pretend that an all-ranged-team will work on all battles just for the sake of the following argument... It's a single player tactical game with tons of customisation, if you cheese it that's on you? I mean in most RPGs there are obvious cheese tactics. The fun is in figuring our how yo beat the battles without the implemented "cheat code" in it.. I just beat her myself without any ranged cards.. it's fight is all about managing her marks and countering her beam with your own good dice..

@@NickStrife I am aware of this, maybe shoulda specified this comment was a joke better, but I'm not mad about the reply or anything. The main reason I made the comment was because the creator of this video--and my friend who played the game--defaulted to guns once they got them because guns are strong and funny. I tend to like living for long periods of time, so I was less inclined to spam guns (even when I reached SoTC the Thumb/Rabbits technically solved that problem), so I did also beat Queen without guns (though I still used a semi-cheesy bleed strat), it's just funny how easily players who are adjusting to the later parts of the game see the firearms and subscribe to the American philosophy. The game does still encourage you to think, but I would argue there are some fights at/around the end of the game (slight spoilers but: Judgement Bird, Price of Silence and 3/5ths of the Keter realization) which have gimmicks that are too punishing for the average player to beat without someone telling you a solution, which is usually cheesy. Sure those fights are *_possible_* (I beat part two of the Keter realization, which is what most people consider the nastiest part of the whole thing, by interacting with the mechanics using my usual tactics), but some (like part 5 of that realization) are *_SO_* annoying to do without whipping out some dumb nuke strat someone stumbled into or resetting into good RNG (part 1 of that realization . . . Keter realization just really sucks).

Wonderful cheese strat. Worked like a charm. Didn't even have to use improv drumming, just slapped Punch to the Solar Plexus for that +2 Blunt and Speed.

Thanks for the guide. It took... several attempts before I managed to get her to scene 2 without her transforming into her snake form and fully healing, but eventually I got lucky. I assume the reason you didn't experience the snake is because you were focusing all of the attacks on her last die, thus causing the hysteria gauge to fall when her first two die were uncontested and dealt damage to the party?

She only cares about 2 things: Clashes and interacting with the target. She gets hysteria from losing clashes and being hit by her current marked target, and loses hysteria when she wins clashes and hits her current marked target. One sided attacks between her and none marked targets do not affect hysteria no matter what.

I just did the good ol bleed strat on her, even when it was nerfed. Had fun. Fullstop could have helped me also in Red Mist, though it is budget strat. 10% hp left. Big sad

You only need 8, which you already have by then. The 10 and 12 upgrades aren't needed for Urban Plague and Nightmare's Full Stop

Yeah, you had figured it out before I responded. If you only have 6 cost then use Improv Druming instead of Blind Fire.

P sure it's just the left most storyline in Urban Plague where you get them. Then you get to enjoy Full Stop wrecking 90% of things up until Star of the City

This does not work anymore, as she will straight up transform (and regain ALL health) on the SECOND scene if you burst her down like this.

it does work if you burst her with the marked librarian first, then let her slap them to prevent her from transforming, then burst her slowest die with the two remaining ones, i just beat her that way with this exact setup

First Character I see: Snipe(4)+ Speed(4)+ Meow Meow(1) + Blind Fire (3) = 12pts of abilities. This is literally impossible. How did you add 8pts of abilities to Tamaki's page? What am I doing wrong? The max the game allows me to add is 6pts. . Just to test, I tried doing this strat WITHOUT Blind Fire: The boss entered phase 2, turned into a giant snake monster after the first scene. This strategy doesn't work at all? . Second Attempt, only attacking the last spot with all 6 hits. 1st character dies before scene 2 starts. Not looking good. 2nd characer dies in scene 2, but got her down to 8hp. Really close. . Third time is a charm, same strat as second attempt. It was very close again, 2 dead characters, last character down, and luckily the boss dies to a 6dmg burn (which I added to replace blind fire). The fight literally came down to 1-2hp. I guess I got luckier the 3rd attempt.

after playing the game for a second time I just did shi association then got 3 valentine＋ bleed passives spamming extreme edge and single dice light restores and crack of dawn for MA. Her snake form got bullied so hard

No, it's really not the only winning strategy... I beat her without any ranged cards whatsoever.. Just manage her marks so she cannot kill your crew one by one.. And keep some light and good cards on the side to counter her beam.. That's it.... I heard the game has way more bs fights in the game.. Of course, if you don't like this fight you can just cheese her and be done with it...
