An agent tried to sell me this, when i calculated IRR, came out to be ~ 6% . Kachra plan, just looks catchy for ones who don't do any homework

Dude 6% lifetime is not bad . In future fd rates will become 2 to 3 percent or even less . Lock in the rate now and later when everyone will be crying over low interest rates u will feel much better and happier .

@@tradingwizard562 if you r ok with 6% there r a ton out there, any index fund can easily provide 10% return consistently. I am not a lazy bone , to invest in subpar returns and still feel good abt it about an investment which marginally beats inflation

If u ok with 6% interest in 2024, u simply are ignorant. I don’t want to block my money for a subpar low return guaranteed plan when i can just invest for next 5 -7 years in even S&P 500 index at my own comfort and get easy 10-12% returns. I am not gullible

I have not seen a single policy where monthly income increase with inflation. Guarantee income means fix income. So even LIC agents know they will become popper if they bring such scheme which changes with inflation.

If you withdrawal policy and take money as shown in cash value. Policy will end there. Cash value is the surrender value.

AS on date LIC has not said any thing about bonus after PPT. A decision I respect of VESTED SIMPLE REVISIONARY BONUS after PPT is yet to be taken and the bonus after PPT upto 100 years or upto death will be different . Hence kindly make your calculations keeping this fact in mind

92 lakh lump sum after 60 years of maturity. So according to which our kid would able to afford a Lamborghini at age of 60years don't you think so? Not sure who are they fooling, If we consider inflation into account than after 60 years, one can hardly survive with 90 lakhs Rs for a year.

@@insuranceclinicif one simply does SIP say 1 lakh per annum for 15 years than he would get 21 lakh lumpsum @ 4.1% return at end of 15 years. It is better to invest in PPF for same duration and one can get 27.12 lakhs @ 7.1 returns at end of 15 years.
