funny it seem that they do not give you much wire on the right lamp, just did my daughters license plate on her 2013 Accent hatch and the wire was as short as yours. Also I saw a video where when the put the bulb in and it did not light the took it out and rotated it and plugged it in and it now went on., did you ever find that happen to you
