This is the NEWEST over the counter hearing aid by Linner OTC, the Mercury. I received this hearing aid about 3 weeks ago and in this video, i will cover all of the features and will be using my new method for deciding just how close this hearing aid is to a real prescription hearing aid. For my job (Emergency Services) I can't afford to have a rechargeable battery go dead. I need to do a battery swap in seconds. Just like all cellphones, rechargeable batteries will decline with use. I like your idea for a device to have both options!!

You stated OTC devices don't have replaceable receivers. They ARE on Jabra Enhance 200. I wanted longer wires because of my eyeglasses. I installed the free replacements myself. And it's wires + receiver. In other words, when/if my receivers fail, I'll be able to fix them. Sounds to me as if one really needs to be careful about their choice of device and the company behind it. Your videos will help. Thanks.

If you are looking for hearing aids, to help you hear conversations better, i would go with these. If you are looking for a nice pair of headphones for music and hands free phone calls, I would consider the apple air pods.

Bought these for way less than the list price, as a fill in for a lost left presscription aid. Problem solved. Charge holds for as long as I have needed. Looks and feels like my expensive aid. Printed material that comes with it is iffy at best. Suggest you watch their youtube videos instead. One other thing....when you turn on there is an almost ten second delay. Once you hear a chime the aid is functional. If you are not aware of this you will think it is defective.

Right now you can’t get Rexton BiCore hearing aids. There supply issues and so far no updates on new Rexton hearing aids yet.

Nope, we get no information when new hearing aids are coming. We find out a few days before they are released. I imagine, it will be in the near future.

I bought the Linner Mercury OTC aids. The aids have worked very well for me. I have had them for 6 months atm. I did have a problem. the right ear failed to recharge a couple times. I contacted Linner and they sent me a new set to replace the problem. on another point. the wires for me are a number 2 length. and are short to fit my ears. I need a # 3 or # 4 to fit me better. Would I buy another pair in the future? yes.

I never noticed the size of the wires, I would call and see if they are able to change them out or send different length receiver wires.
