This video is about how I created an epoxy resin coated Ash bowl and how I applied fractal wood burning pyrography to create a Lichtenberg pattern on the outside of an Ash end grain bowl. It includes the wood turning and shaping of the bowl on my lathe, the sanding and preparation before applying the Lichtenberg wood burning pattern, how I control the distribution and direction of the fractal wood burning pattern, and the mixing and application of the epoxy resin to get a crystal clear, bubble free, glass smooth, high gloss finish.
