I did a homemade video of Smooth Sailing using the worst equipment possible….now THAT was terrible, but not this! I wish I could noodle like that. I actually think noodling is a necessity because I’ve actually come up with some pretty decent stuff that I never would’ve discovered if I had stuck to a regimen. Didn’t your father play too? If so that would explain your precise technique somewhat.

Nope, I've never been a nails guy. Funny story tho. I was doing a benefit gig with Johnny Hiland and Brent Mason, and Brent lost a nail somewhere near the front door of Douglas Corner where the gig was... I thought it was hilarious. My bass player found it for him. But man, I can't imagine having to worry about one more thing at a gig... lol
