(Sorry about the quiet mic...i am going to buy a new one soon)
great item....only $80 from the famous center isle at LIDL
quick correction....zoom is not 3x-20x it is 3x to 6x zoom.
works great for the price, obviously higher end night vision will have high quality LCDs and better IR. However, for the price this is a good deal.
Comes with a 5 year warranty, and 30 days to return (LIDL policy)

Thanks for the review. I had bought one 2 weeks ago. And for the money I agree these Bino's are great. To add to your review is that you want to buy some name brand batteries. The ones included with them are short lived. Also If you have access to one, a good IR flashlight is very helpful in two ways, first it will conserve you bino's power, and second it will help with the light up of the area and give you a little more clarity.

We’re going to Big Bend in a couple of weeks kzfaq.infoUgkxSt0aBrzyS1nxONvwm1e0u7ZDFD_eypAO so I bought these to use during the hikes, didn’t want to miss anything. As you can see by the photos I tested the phone adapter by taking a phone of a power pole on the next block and you can see the results. It took a couple of minutes to line the phone camera up to the eye piece, there’s a bit of a learning curve, but once it was longed up it stayed in place without any issues. So far I’m impressed with the feel and the weight, the neck strap is wide and soft so it feels good on my neck. I look forward to using it with my friend and grandson in Big Bend!

As a UK prepper, living in a semi-rural area, with lots of open fields/farmland around me, I will keep an eye out to see if they come to the UK. Handy to have when walking down the lanes in the dark with my dog, among other things should SHTF at some point, including perimeter security.

Hello sir! Good Review and very insightful. I have one question though. I want to use some night vision binoculars for walking around in the forest at night, buildings at night, etc. How zoomed in or close is the "unzoomed" mode? Does it feel like normal vision and able to walk around or it is still zoomed in even with 0x zoom? Thank you

There good bits of kit, I bought one, there made in Germany by Bresser so excellent quality especially at £80.

They're made in China by Jinghua Optical & Electronics Co., Ltd. It's still a decent piece of equipment at that price, and the 5 year Bresser warranty is nice too.

Nice review. I unfortunately ordered a "night vision" binocular from "Wish" which only cost 30 € but isn't even worth that. There's no night vision improvement and not even a focus adjustment. It'd cost me nearly 30 € to send it back, so I'm keeping them, or giving them away as a prize .

2 quick questions. Does it work in a pitch black room or just outside where there is almost no light, but some? And does the binocular show any kind of visible light?

it uses IR...so yes it will work in pitch black because the binos actually have a IR lamp on the front. Yes it will show visible light, but the image in the bino adjusts...you should not blind yourself.

It is just a digital image sensor without the IR filter, some IR LED's, a LCD screen and a optical zoom system. If you know electronics it should not be a problem to make this out of some old pocket binoculars. You could maybe make it for less than 80 dollars but it would be close.

Ciao, era un amplificatore di luce. L'ho comprato anche io, giusto per provarlo e l'ho reso dopo pochi giorni, però direi la qualità della visione era decente.
