Lies of P is a long awaited souls-like game, and a demo has released! In this video, I go through the entire demo, including all the bosses and give my thoughts.

In this video I defeat all bosses including Parade Master, Mad Donkey and Scrapped Watchman.
You are a puppet created by Geppetto who’s caught in a web of lies with unimaginable monsters and untrustworthy figures standing between you and the events that have befallen the world of Lies of P.
You are awakened by a mysterious voice that guides you through the plagued city of Krat - a once lively place that has been poisoned by madness and bloodlust. In our soulslike, you must adapt yourself and your weapons to face untold horrors, untangle the unfathomable secrets of the city's elites and choose whether to confront predicaments with the truth or weave lies to overcome them on the journey to find yourself.

I’m going to enjoy this one for sure. This is going to sound silly but one of my favourite animations in games like this is that when the character opens doors, it’s a task. The doors are always big and heavy, it gives the vibe that there is something ominous on the other side. Can’t wait for this one!

Leaves a very good impression for me as well, feels good, plays well, would have preferred the roll instead, also the x to lock on is a little distracting on smaller enemies especially if there are multiple close together. Just nit picky preferences lol will definitely be playing and watching!

This demo really surprised me - generally speaking non-FromSoft Souls games tend to be really damn janky in my mind and only rarely ever nail even part of the appeal of that series, but this one comes pretty damn close. The atmosphere is there, the off-kilter world and lore are there, the combat feels chunky, the exploration is fun, if a bit basic at this early point. A couple mechanics could use a once-over, like the guard recovery thing or how long you get stuck in certain animations, but I really like what's there! Though I'm not a fan of how every character seems to be designed to either be a Korean popstar or a stylish as hell old person, it's a bit jarring in context.

Waited for release can say I suck at this game cause, I can't even get a parry, or critical or even get to the main point of the game. Im stuck. In the beginning.

He just seems to nonstop red attack me (first boss) and I cannot dodge or out of it no matter what...i dont recall seeing him red attack you at all lucky

This demo caused me not to buy it. Sorry to say that but if I can’t beat the first boss no need to buy and get frustrated at the whole game. Enjoyed the game up until the boss🤷🏽‍♂️

Which is a completely fair take! Games of this subgenre are not to everybody's taste and frustration is an intrinsic part of what makes them what they are.
