I gave GATE in 2020 and got 2050 rank but it didn't shake my motivation. I take GATE in 2021 and I got 240 rank just by solving previous year questions and may be I can get IIT KHARAGPUR / GUWAHATI for VLSI. So keep studying you will get good rank.

U are totally wrong I am an IITian I know the reality .... Except cs and electronics branch...getting job through other branch in iit is very tough ...if u are not under 200 rank in gate ....stop thinking for psu ...and master degree of iit not give u 20 lpa job....and many of my friends are also PhD from IITs their future is also not secure...life is not that easy my friend

Is due to covid , the complete mtech course are going online ????? If it is true , then is doing mtech online beneficial as compared to doing mtech offline ??

Yes as per the news it is running online. But not sure whether it would be completely online or offline. I know there's certain differences between online and offline semester. But we have no option left. Waiting for offline course to be resumed would be a bad idea according to me. We never know when everything will be fine.

Yes with 700 rank you have fair chance of getting IIIT Bangalore. But I would suggest try for MS programs in IITs. May be you can get a call. Else try for IIIT delhi as well.

Is it true that in IITs (top 7) avg package is 30 lpa for m.tech CSE? Or is it just a misleading fig. 20 lpa is considerable. Even 23-25 is considerable. But 30 lpa is way too much. Pls clarify

No average generally lies between 20-22 lpa.

Look there's no comparison between these. They are all great institutions in our country. I would suggest choose based on faculties and research. First find your interest and look for research exposure, facilities, number of paper published etc. This will give a rough estimate about which institute would be best for you. Otherwise all are great.

You can but not eligible for many psu. As they have certain age criteria. You have do higher studies from iits as they also don't have any age criteria. Isro also has age limit of 34 I guess. So, get it verified once before any final decision.
