Honestly! He's not "youtube-ey" which probably sucks on the algorithm side, but it's what makes me actively search his videos. Most videos have an entertainment feel. His are "hey man I'm struggling right now. Can you help?". Just an organic conversation with a close friend. Campbell I've been watching your videos for a long time. You truly are making a huge difference in my life. Thank you for doing this. Cheers

Age doesn't factor into this, it's the individuals experience with life. Some people have always had someone else to come in and help them with/without asking and others just had stuff done for them not realising it needed to be done. The rest of us get pain/sabotage disguised as help and it's hard to learn what that is if you've never had genuine help before or if the person is gaslighting you.

You know.. being in your thirties doesn't mean you have to have life figured out. At least you can be humble about it and admit it. Others just pretend they know everything. Everyone is just making it up as we go. And just because you logically understand it.. doesn't mean that you really understand it on a deeper level. It's just the belief that things will just somehow fall into place. And for some people they do..

Age and gender has nothing to do with really good universal advice that speaks to the human experience at large. No one has everything figured out, and this piece of advice is a good example of that, and how most tend to overlook our need to be self accountable.

"You don't start good" - there's something comforting in the way you said that. Almost like, consider it impossible to be born good at something. Then there's no pressure, only room to grow 🌈 Also "it's been a nice addition" sounds like a healthy way of acknowledging material success. I will be adopting that, thank you!

Love what you said about tattoos and how they are a metaphor! I think this is true in more ways than one. After being anti-tattoo my entire life, I got my first tattoo at 33 after losing my Mum to cancer and my husband walking out on me 6wks before her passing. It was actually the best decision for my mental and 5yrs later it’s still a daily reminder of how strong I am 💪Thanks for the great content!!

Preordered! The advice for teenage boys is so spot on. Man life has been rough this year and with so much loss it’s tough to maintain perspective, but I’ve been watching your videos and a few days ago realized that I always have control over the choices I make and I should own that while also being thankful that I do. 👍📸 I worked in radio for over 5 years and worked with SO many people who came in to record spots - the advice I would always give them is to read through what they're to voice a couple of times to themselves, or aloud of they prefer. After they've become familiar with the subject, the second part of this is to *voice* what they're recording instead of *reading* it. And by this, I mean to imagine they are chatting with their friend and just sharing the information with them (but just what they're supposed to say). It makes a HUGE difference in the quality and realism of their work! ❤ I absolute love the idea of printing a picture of your friend and putting it at/by/behind the camera! BRILLIANT!! ❤

i've been following your videos for a while now and i'm in a moment of my life where there are many paths for me to follow and i'm unsure which one would make me happier (and honestly the truthful answer is "all of them"). for one of them, art, i kinda had the feeling that it was too late, and that my art wasn't at a point where i could try to make anything of it. with some of your tips i slowly started building up the courage to prove myself wrong, and although i can't sustain myself off a couple sticker packs i made, it was fun and reassuring to see there were people interested in them and that the ignorant style sorta stuff i like to do resonates with others. there are other improvements i've been making too, in small slow steps, and it's always comforting to watch your videos and see how much you trust that everyone can get out of their slopes and do well, while being honest and realistic. sometimes that's all someone needs, 1 person who genuinely believes in them as you do. thank you so much for your content and for sharing your experiences with us! i really admire you. i hope your tattoos still look good in ten years, maybe even 20! is what you deserve!

When you answered the question of "Any questions you'd have someone ask themselves ... who realise they don't want the thing they were pursuing" I was expecting a question that was more forward-looking, eg questioning "what exactly is the thing I want other than the present obligation?" But the second you said "How was this time not wasted" I thought it was a much nicer perspective to focus on! It's only now I realize I need the comfort and assurance that the time spent was not wasted, to be able to move forward in a more surer and confident way rather than always planning about the future feeling like I'm racing against time.

I just got hooked on your content, immediately, the 10th...I have been stumbling around the tube in dire desperation for the past month, month, and a half, 30% of the time attempting with my limited ability to correctly form and make coherent or even just complete, is always a huge struggle for me. I have always been a bit slow in a few aspects mentally, starting from inherited Mental disorders, to growing up in a toxic, violent, homeless in some of the times when my parents had custody of me, and then off to live with my dad's mom and dad, then they divorced, got sent to live with my dad's grandmother, then I became too much for her to be able to bear alone, but my parents were able to get a place behind her on her property and though It was before they got custody of me again for the 1st time, I'd stay mainly there a night, then walk up the dirt path, stay with (great grandmother) but to me: Nanny. Etc from about 5 to 8, then they got custody of me and because of the moving from family member to family member, I was held back in 1st grade. 3rd grade comes, Hurricane katrina comes through and flips the trailer behind my nanny's where we lived with my mom and at the time I believe 4 yr, old sister. So I missed 3/4s of 3rd grade in the time it took to find a shed for us all to live in, which wound up being where my now remarried grandfather had wound up finally considering to let us stay in, this 10x10 aluminum building for the time of about a year and a half before we were able to get help from the state to be worked into a barely livable deal with a run-down house with wires exposed, water damage, etc. So I've been to 3 schools by 4th grade, then get to 5th and because the bank then wound up taking the house, my parents lost us again, and I missed a lil more than half of 5th grade, got sent to temp live with my grandfather again, who now has become apart of the DHR temporary home service, and has adopted a sweet, shy, abused and molested to being badly damaged 16 yr old girl and her autistic 17 yr old brother who was mentally still about 9, and while we were living there as well, I was in 6th, about 12 maybe 13, my newly adopted aunt and I wind up having secret slow teenage hormonally induced flirting that led to me taking her virginity, then immediately they found the blood on her sheets and DHR told my grandpa, it's us or them, and of course because they were there before us and in a program that required a certain amount of time before they were able to move to the next temp family, we were sent back to my parents who were forced to have to because of the situation with DHR getting involved with the case and thinking at first that she raped me and then thought I raped her, but after it was settled to just be a bad misunderstanding and bad communication between my grandathers new wife and dhr, so initially when the reasons for us being made to have to leave and having returned to my parents, they were forced to have temp custody, split visitation and living situations alternated weekly with a check up 2 times a week for a yesr and a half, and by then i was 14, had been drinking alchocol since 12, just discovered weed and got diagnosed with more disorders, got my brain fried from about 6 attempted trial medication seappings, had multiple psychotic breaks, my first 3 attempts at secret suicide, then when i was discovered in a cubbard that my dad had his gun stockpile and collection of vintage playboys from the 80s, and a few other dangerous weapons, i was found trying to slit my wrists with a dulled rusty ninja star my dad had in the closet, but my lack of knowledge and after so much nerve damage i began to enjoy the initial fiery burn when I'd break through skin to reveal meat, and developed a problem with being hypnotised by the spread of my blood and i begsn my first expressive artistic renderings on the walls of my closets, in cabinets where i would sleep or just hide away in during the most of the times i was in a house that had them. And after i got put into therapy and counceling, when i turned 16 i never had stopped cutting and stabbing and ripping, eating my insides of my cheeks and would tear pieces off my hands and chew the cartlidge like gum, i got sloppy and less caring about hiding it in general, had at that point embraced that everyone was either didgusted by me, from never having clean clothes at first, then after the police and dhr were brought to the school andeveryone, at every school i went to, would find out about my family at home history and embarassments, and after i finally shut everyone except for my great grandmother and her new husband, my first male figure that ever gave me my first lessons on how to love working hard and be a right gentlemen in the world of hooligans of the times as he said, lol...but um..yea, then I took the blame for a child abuse case because the girl I wound up falling for, was pregnant when I got with her and when I had been with her for a Lil over a year or so, [I didn't witness, same as I told the police upon the retrial] but he had a spiral fracture to one of his legs, both bones snapped in the opposite sides wrist, and after having gone through Social services and having the experiences I had, immediately went into panic mode at the mentioning and coercion by the investigator telling me, "the sooner we can wrap this up, have established what happened and who did it, the soone
