It's flange-er from the way the effect was originally produced in the late '60s by running two tape machines and putting your finger on the flanges of the reels on one machine to produce a slight delay between the two. Great videos - Georgia looks nice, never been.

These are great vids that we can live vicariously through, and I thank you. You’ve got a great life. I’m not saying I’m right but I always pronounced it Flan-ger and everybody I know says the same thing, but hey who cares I knew what you meant and that’s all that matters. Keep safe and have fun.

That Mooer seems awesome. Just had to fly with my gear and I was shoving pedals and patch cables in my dress shoes to try and fit everything Side note, Vernon Reid was on the same red-eye flight but I was so tired I didn't even recognize him until it was too late....

The polytune clip tuner actually does manage to clip on the top of the Kiesel headless

I will play in Hong Kong next Tuesday , my tour rig is Mooer Black Truck ( new upgraded version from Red , I have a Red Truck too !) and I have a Mooer Freebase Volume/ Wah its small too.....good to go . Nice thing about Black Truck is if back line amps suck I just go straight into the mixer as it has good cab sim ( use the phones jack for output) and a separate volume control too!! You should look into it!

The Black Truck cab sim actually is very good I have used it before going direct to the board with no issues sounds good

Have you tried the Tech21 Fly Rig? I've heard great things. I think I may buy it for my touring rig. Same concept as Mooer.

You spoke about tuners. What's your opinion on the Korg pitchblack? I'm considering it based on the strobe mode, which I would use when doing setups. I am also considering the boss but real estate might not be big enough for it. I feel I've given TC enough of my money lol, delay, reverb, vibe, chorus. Have you tried Warwick's batter brick for pedal power. Its USB charge so international power should be cool. For me it was a miracle at quieting my rig, when the mains are terrible. With 5 digital pedals being turned on and off throughout a 1.5 hr gig I used about 40% of it. I'm considering a second either to split my pedals up and run at the same time or as a backup, to switch mid set.

I've never tried the Warwick power but it sounds interesting. I haven't used a Korg pitchblack since they first came out, so I'm not sure if they updated it, but I didn't like it. It didn't track well to me. Boss and TC have been my favorite tuners.

I've never tried the NUX so it's hard for me to say, but so far the Red Truck has been great, except for the tuner.

Sounds like the headless guitar works for you but did you ever consider just taking the neck off one of your Strat/Tele travel guitars and throwing it in a bag you could take on the plane? Maybe there’d be too much setup required?

I think nowadays it's a lot easier to find gluten free foods, especially in bigger cities. Just gotta read labels and ask the servers.

For lightening your load, check out Thomas Blug's BluGuitar Amp1. There's an entire system built around it, including IR's. The Amp1 is a 100 watt honest to goodness tube amp that will fit in the front pocket of your guitar's gig bag and weighs less than 3 lbs.
