Any good accountant should also explain to you about setting up a limited company, and give all the pros and cons of going either self employed or setting up a limited company. If the accountant doesn't do that, then they are not the best accountant to go with. Plus accountancy fees are cheaper if you go with a small firm. Larger accountancy firms tend to charge higher fees.

I have been both limited and sole trader with Amazon and imho limited is not the best for a self employed courier driver. The accounts for this type of job are very simple and you will end up paying more in fees with a limited company. All I use is a very simple spreadsheet to keep my weekly accounts in order. Doing your own self assessment and vat is straight forward too, Don`t really see the need for an accountant with this type of job.

Was this filmed a while ago? I work for amazon with rockpool, and we load in the new depo now DWN2, this is all done indoors, im guessing this was old because you were loading your bags outside, i get the company called wise do all my tax for me

Hello Zac! To do the dsp with Amazon i need 25K? Is there any other way to work straight for Amazon as a self employed driver or i have to do through a subcontractor??

To start your own yeah something like that, It’s self employed but through a subcontractor. You can do flex on your own

I have been told that Amazon self-employment salary is better than drive HGV? I have been drive HGV few years for £28-29k which is not a good pay. Not only that, but I was thinking of buy my own van because the bloody tachograph, too many DVSA keep pull me over for no reason.
