The music you are listening is called as "Kirtan", which means the praises of God. It includes the hymns and writings (called Shabad) of Sikh Gurus and other saints. When you go inside, you can see/read these Shabads on a Blue Board, and the meanings are translated right below that Shabad. Uh can also go for the Live Kirtan from Sri Harmandir Sahib. The original name of Golden temple is Sri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar, which means the temple of God.

Very nice video and effort to understand this great religion. There is Sikh Meuse um inside The Golden Temple premises where you can get more knowledge about Sikh religion. Golden temple has largest community kitchen ( Guru ka Langar) in the world where thousands pilgrimage daily eat food. This Sikh tradition goes on in every Gurudwara around the world. You can visit anytime in any Gurudwara and you will get food(Langar) without any discrimination. If you like to more about Sikh religion, you can also visit Shri Anadpur Sahib near Ropar, Punjab. This is the birth place of Khalsa. We believe in One God Almighty.May Waheguru ji bless you.

Sikhism is about experiencing the One Divine Being from within... and becoming Him. Its about becoming our God-self and helping others achieve the same if they so desire. Enlightment is the first step... next is to become the universal truth.

U know why u feel peace the main reason is the guru says who shall come here of any religion everyone will feel connected to God the place of Golden temple is blessed granth sahib ji is the guru who teaches to connect with God. Guru granth sahib ji says that God is inside us only but you need to experience by following right path and that path is written in guru Granth Sahib ji even the architecture of Golden temple show this. U must have observe when u go to Golden temple u go downstairs the reason is every soul who wants to meet inside their body had to be lower down wrt to not have ego no abuse to person and much more things and then u will find God inside ur self and that's the golden temple is inside water because To tell God is inside u considering outer body the white part and and temple as the heart 💖 this is where Lord abides

@@Daytripped one more thing, my frnd. Uh will get really amazed abt the fact how the Sikh Gurus have founded a religion, which is complete in itself, e.g where on the one side it teaches how to serve the Supreme lord n Humanity, On the other side it also teaches to fight the wrong n protect the humanity. Known as Miri (means the sword for the wrongfuls) & Piri (means the saintly nature), introduced by the Sixth Guru, Sri Guru Hargobind Singh Ji. Would like to knw ur thoughts/comments after reading the Book, i told earlier. Take care and Waheguru ji ka Khalsa 🙏 Waheguru ji ki Fateh 🙏

The guru granth sahib (the holy scripture) is our living 11th guru. We believe in singing from that and meditating on the name of God. The concept of God is the vibrating cosmos and the universe which created everything. The omnipresent being is within us. The vibrations you felt is because we have experienced that energy of God countless times in our births and when you find something similar and close to that you resonate to that energy.
@Daytripped2 жыл бұрын
Amazing help. Thanks for clearing that up for me as I was quite confused about that about this 11th guru.

Roop Singh meant that the holy book Granth sahib is the 11th guru. No one really thinks of the holy book as the 11th guru. The correct way to think is that there are no more mortal (human) gurus and all that needs to be learnt can be learnt from the book. The book itself is referred to as “Guru” Granth Sahib. As for comparing with Aristotle, you have to realize the back in 300bc there was lot of cross cultural contact between India and Greece. So what Aristotle wrote was probably common place in India, known as Vedas. So Guru Nanak had studied all vedas, kuran and even visited middle east. Buy it is safe to say that he wrote his own original philosophy whose main element is controlling ego.
