Spiders are intelligent. When they are in my house i put yhem in a cup, cover cup with paper towel and let the spider loose in the grass

Trust me when i say this. I WAS a professional cleaner for 25 years. You are in every way a professional cleaner. You have the instincts, the organization protocols, and the sublime skills you need for this job...including bravery...that's a big part of the job...jumping in to a task that disgusts/scares you. AND what some folks don't understand..the JOY you have in accomplishing these huge, challenging jobs. I love watching every detail of your tasks...even if they might feel weird to you. Throwing away furniture doesn’t make sense for someone who needs a cleaning. When she is ready (if she ever is) she will replace the furniture. Thank you, Barbie for considering her. Also, thank you for saying that you leave projects for the owners. You give them a massive head start, so when they are in a better place, they can go through all of their things. More than likely she still needs to get over whatever hardship she is going through, so when she is ready, she will tackle it. I’m hoping she gets her child back. The first step to recovery is asking for help!

Parents need to realize CPS is not going to allow children to stay in this kind of home. I hope any that are reading this understand this and get cleaning or message Barbie. At least start cleaning one thing like picking up all clothes or picking up all garage. That's a start.

CPA have to go thru multiple parent interactions & many different protocols before a child is removed. It really is the last resort. And legally , they have to state why. The parent is told in writing, why & what has to happen for the child to return: whether its attending parenting classes, getting therapy/rehab, ensuring the home is safe & clean or ensuring abusive partners are not living there any more.

Trust me, people living in these kind of conditions are extremely ill and may not be able to centralize that kind of connection. I know someone that's a massive hoarder and they have trouble seeing that piles of clothes up to the ceiling is an issue. It's often a major executive function disorder.

i dont think the dusting and cleaning was weird! i think maybe you felt weird and lingering fear from spiders and can tell you are tense in the video. the mirrors probably dont help, it can make it feel more ominous. love you barbie💕if you are feeling burnt out feel free to take a break, none of us would be offended

Watching you wipe the cabinet down was actually cathartic after I saw how covered it had been with spider webs. It just soothed me to see you using soap and water. And I personally would wayyy prefer a white spotted floor over one that the mouse, cockroaches, and spiders all liberally claimed as their own. You are truly an angel for doing this incredible work. ❤❤❤

People try to give you cleaning tips but just do what works for you. FYI: bugs hate the smell of Pinesol and Peppermint. So I recommend she start cleaning with Pinesol on a regular basis and use some Peppermint spray for creating a good smell in her home. Bye bye buggies!!👋🏻👋🏻👍🏻😊

No worries about the outside windows. As another KZfaq cleaner says she has to remind herself that it doesn't have to be perfect, it has to be better. And we can all clearly see it is 1000% better. And now the owner can look out of her windows onto the beautiful view with no more ugly spiders and spider webs! How wonderful!

Those cabinets gleamed when you had finished them. Once upon a time someone had pride in their home and with new flooring and paint it will look good again. Don't feel bad about the floor, it already had tiles missing but now it's clean again.

I actually really like the whole video, Barbie. You seemed concerned that some people might find the part where you're just wiping the cabinets boring. I dont find it boring at all. I find it rather soothing, and I think this is one of my favorite videos on your channel. You did an amazing job, and I think you made those cabinets look new. Every time I watch you, you work so hard, I always think, "oh gosh, her back must hurt a lot after working so hard." You do such a good job and I hope that you aee very blessed for the awesome thing you do for so many people. Most people don't accomplish what you, Mack, Bonnie, and other free cleaners have done for the families you've helped their entire lives. A little tip, put an old cloth, towel or pillow case around your broom when cleaning cobwebs. Another great job!👏 A few white spots on the floor is better than mice and spiders. That apartment is really old, but with some white paint to brighten up the living room, it could be very nice (assuming the bathroom is functional and repaired).

I don't think it is weird showing us how you cleaned up the shelves and little figurines. It was cool to watch all the dust and webs taken away and shiny glass left behind. The reason the board is in the door was to keep someone from breaking in. Sliders can be jiggled opened even if you lock them. Having a piece of wood there is just a safety measure. I think you did a great job and you said her kids were going to help her get new flooring anyway, so no harm done. It is nice and clean for them to work with. Hope you are doing well and everyone is doing great in your little family. See you next time!

Using a pizza cutter to scrape the caked on dirt? Perfect use of whatever’s handy! But seriously the glass cabinet was an amazing transformation. I understand trying to save what you can when everything else has to be trashed. You’re such an amazing person to do what you do. That huge cabinet was lovely. Maybe her table just needed the legs screws tightened. I wouldn’t worry about white spots on the floor, it was going to & needed to be replaced. Considering what it looked like at the beginning, white spots are the least concern for this lady. The critical people shouldn’t tell you what you should have done, they wouldn’t have done anything in that place themselves . You are amazing to go in these homes & do this for free for them.

Great video! You asked if we wanted to watch you dust and remove cobwebs. My answer is Yes, please! Every bit of cleaning and putting a house in order is great to me. It’s very satisfying and soothing to see the dirt and grime go, 1 small area at a time and then the furniture arranged and the house gradually turned into a home. It makes me feel good and motivates me to work on my home. I think you did right in disinfecting the floor. The flooring already had a big hole in it, and the family was going to replace it with laminate. So you made it safer for an animal or child to sit on it without danger of picking up dangerous bacteria. The work you do, professional or not, is 100% terrific!

A water spot is nothing to worry about if they are covering the floors with new laminate. I wouldn't stress about that sweetie. I hope this lady gets her child back after all this is done and over.

Ohh no no no no no no no those roaches in that sink at the very end no no no no no no no I would run out of the house SCREAMING!!!!! OMG YOU ARE TRULEY AN EARTH ANGEL!!!!! Not sure what would scare me more roaches or spiders but anything in huge quantities like that would have me running for the hills!!!!! There is no way I could do what you do!!! I think the floor being a bit stained by cleaning products is way better than it was before, and at least it's a lot cleaner!! The floor looked damaged and unfinished already, and it it will be re-done in the near future then I dont think it matters The shelving looked so good when it was done!! I hate dusting around ornaments - taking them off to clean and putting them back, it just feels like it takes so long!! So you did a great job. The apartment looked lovely when finished. The furniture is old and worn but it looked fine after being cleaned - its very expensive/logistically difficult to replace those items so it's lovely that you cleaned them so they can be used for now. ❤

Hopefully, this woman will get the help she needs. Also, it would be good if she could have her family help out keeping the house in an orderly condition. And most hopefully, her child is doing well in his/her placement, and can get back together with their mom ASAP.

Bloody good job done. Don't apologise to people who judge what you do but don't want to lift a finger. Stop apologising. It's up to the owners now to either take your leg up to help and run: or not change and not get their child back from CPS. People have to make their own choices. Love the sponsorship. He does not do the fridge, but says come here to see a marine of clean - Barbie. Sure enough, the end of the video is horror shots and you attacking the situation. I like this glass cabinet in Art Deco style, it is the eyecatcher in the room. The furniture isn't too bad. You can renovate it a bit, fix the legs of the round table with glue or iron brackets, fix the shelf, glue the foil on the square coffee table and cover it with a table cloth, or paint it. I would sew simple covers for the chairs. Is there a family member or a friend who can sew? Or just use a cloth and cords to wrap them. The couch also has straight lines, so you can use a blanket and tuck it tightly around it or sew covers like for the chairs. If the apartment has a new floor, is freshly painted (I would go for a very pale grayish pink in the living room matching the glass cabinet), and with cushions, rugs, lamps and curtains, it will look great. The balcony should also be overhauled. A small seating area, a few plants, lanterns - a little paradise high above the city.

Cleaning the floor before pulling boxes and furniture around is a great idea because it helps to stop the bits of grit on the floor scratching the tiles as you pull items around. Well done again Barbie.

I DID enjoy the cabinet cleaning very much. It was such a big difference. And I don't think furniture should be thrown out just because they are dated. They are still usable until the resident is able to replace them. I love that you clean windows at least from the inside. Other cleaners don't.

I enjoy just watching you clean (no music :)) - it seems to reduce anxiety and I just switch off though sometimes watching cleaning motivates me to get up and clean and sometimes it just triggers random ideas that I can do. Well done Barbie you are doing a great job!

You cleaning the glassy cabinets did seem weird yes. I think it's because it was almost ghostly. The cabinets were not extremely full of stuff that needed to be scooped out, they were "just" dirty. Untouched for many many years, like a ghost area in a house. Anyway, I hope you do not really get burned out because that is a terrible feeling that I wish on nobody. And you are amazing for doing this for people, but take care of yourself too ❤

My niece started a cleaning project on KZfaq and some awful person made a comment of her yoga pants. Telling her it's too revealing and to wear a skirt over them. We are trying to find the jerk who commented so FYI , if you get this jerk report him. His cruel comments made her stop her passion on KZfaq. :( You are making a huge difference in people's lives. Thank you for helping these people.
