We spent February 2024 in Buenos Arias, Baroliche and Iguazu and did not see any street crime whatsoever, save for a demonstration where rubbish bins were set alight in the capital. Argentinians treated us with smiles and friendship. The beef chirozo- steaks and cheese fondue were simply the best. Most of the documentary is utter codswallop especially about the ultra sexy women.

Argentinian woman here, and found out lots of things that are a culture shock for me 1) People from other countries actually caring about geting clothes of a "special brand" from.spain or italy This BLEW my mind. I never even thought about such things, like....i dont even think about the brands of the clothes i wear every day. Most of the clothes we wear are made here, and even taking that into account, i dont even care about them. Just buy what i like and wear it. 2) Homeless people NOT wanting to work? Sorry, i think that is a huge misconception. Most people ok the streets nowadays are just people who lost their jobs, or just cant afford a rent (renting an apartment in buenos aires is difficult as fuck, trust me, you need to prove you ALREADY OWN an apartment on the city to give to them as a guarantee....many people dont have that...most of them dont). 3) Palermo being the safest neibourghood? Hem... Sorry but i think that is another misconception. It is Fashionable and expensive, yet lots of other places in the city are way more safe. My neighborhood is not fancy at all, but it is much safer (and yeah, we take our phones on the street and talk....no problem with that).

@@luflor4689I have been to Buenos Aires twice. Buenos Aires is one of the safest places on earth (in the tourist areas, of course), much safer than many areas in Los Angeles. Plus, the Argentines are such beautiful and friendly people. But is it really true that you now need $2,000 USD to live well in Buenos Aires? Last time I went, it was much cheaper. If it is now like this, tourism to Buenos Aires will decline very soon.

@@BritishExpatWorldTraveler@BritishExpatWorldTraveler Thank you for you answer! Though my english is not as good as i would like it to be, i will make my best to answer you the best i can. First of all, you have a few misconceptions: 1)Buenos Aires city IS SAFE EVEN outside of the "tourists" neighrborhoods. What is more, tourist neighrborhoods such as Palermo, San Telmo and so have more pickpockers and thieves in general than neighrborhoods where tourists dont usually come. How do I know this? Because i live here. My own neighrborhood is usually considered a "low-class" one, tourists dont usually come here, and even some of my friends believe it is a dangerous place. The truth is i have never been robbed. Not even once. In my entire fucking life. And yeah, I take my cellphone and use it while walking down the streets ALL THE TIME. Even cat-calling (which used to be pretty common a few years ago) have stopped and it is practically non-existent, men are too scared of being accused of sexual abuse. I will give you a little example of this: i was walking down the street when i suddenly started to have a panic attack (i suffer from anxiety). A man from the other side of the street saw me, and he told me (by screaming) that it was to dangerous for him to get closer to me because people would think he was some sort of criminal, but he was just about to call his wife so she could come and help me. So in my experience, people are usually friendly, willing to help and in men case, extremely afraid of being unfairly accused of sexual harassement (feminism has gone TOO far here, at least in my opinion, this is not fair or healthy). Right now we are in a deep economical/ social crisis. So the answer is.... Argentina became cheap as fuck for tourists with dollars, but too expensive for us to live. Poverty is higher than it has been since our last biggest disaster (2001) and people are desperate and sad (myself included). Many of my friends have lost their jobs, not to mention public hospitals or universities have such a big economical crisis that we are terrified they will have to close or get privatized. To summarise...i love my country. I dont think we are bad people at all. Wish things could get better, because i dont want to emigrate....this is my home. And i love it. Pray god things will get better soon.

During my nearly four-month stay in Argentina, I discovered that it is truly a traveler's paradise. The country's parilla asada is beyond compare and offers a taste that surpasses even the finest Wagyu beef. I can honestly say that it was the best steak I have ever had. The experience was truly unforgettable and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking adventure and culinary delight.

Thanks a million for the history of Argentina. I’m almost 76 yrs young but I don’t want to die before visiting Argentina. I love real football, like coffee but newer could try their national drink with that funny name. As a longtime smoker, 60 + yrs and eating bacon in every possible form or states. Still love women, but that feel is fading away, but still like to watch them when they dance “ Argentinian tango “ unfortunately the influence of the USA causing inflations not just in Arg. But all over the world. How the women look in Argentine could thank for the emigrants from Europe. The US people say that they have the most diverse in the population. Jeah right! Russia on the first place second is Argentina and if the US is lucky they can have the third place. We can see the influence of the US like LGBTQ or don’t even try to discipline your own children or else. They are crazy about football and women which means that Argentinas man population is on the right way. Thanks for this very informative video and you earned a new subscriber!

Behind the sparkling clean stores you have to watch not to step in used siringes, which could be a hard task because it’s almost impossible to go trough between the homeless tents. 45 million homeless in the US and 150 millions living without proper healthcare. Just because the. Argentinians are not afraid to show or see a man penis or that tri angle between women’s legs, shows that they are not even close to be called prude people. I am Cuban and I live in Uruguay and I did an exchange in Argentine cities like Rosario, Santa Fe, Posadas, Bariloche and Mendoza and I want to say that Argentina is whiter than the United States and the United States has more African Americans and Hispanic mestizos than Argentina. I also spent my vacation in New York and most of the people you see in NYC are black, mulatto and mixed race but in Rosario they are whiter of Italian descent and Rosario is not so touristy. Until San Miguel de Tucumán, the city to the northwest is whiter than "Los Angeles. A Cuban says so and also in all of Argentina except in most of the northwest areas, whites predominate! Italians are the majority in the center!! Italians mostly in the center (where 75% of the population lives). Spanish in Tucumán and the Germans in the province of the Pampas and Santa Cruz. In Buenos Aires, although it is not as white as before, it still has a super white majority and more or less 45 percent of the population lives in the province of Buenos Aires and in the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires. In fact, almost all the browns and mestizos you see in Buenos Aires are Bolivians, Peruvians, Paraguayans and their descendants, just like in the entire center. And to prove that Argentina is a mostly white country, not mestizo, according to the 2023 Genera study based on many thousands of DNA tests, the average Argentine is only 12.5 percent indigenous and 85 percent Caucasian. Here I leave the channel of an American who lives in South America and adopted Argentine citizenship and is dedicated to recording the streets of South America, mainly Argentina, including the central region where the vast majority of the population is of European descent. He also makes videos of the beaches of Argentina and the tundras of the south and southeast. Now your videos from Argentina. here is the name of the channel 👉🏻 ManuTrip

Having lived in Argentina for years, I can assure you this video is a fake propaganda, I guess anyone can make a fake video and convince people it is real. There is a difference between tourists that romanticize the idea of what they heard about Argentina and the actual Argentinians living in a place where there is no future. Immigration is huge from neighboring countries, but also Argentinians emigrate to other places like Spain and the USA for the most part because this country has failed them big time.

I lived in Chile, and this narrator has captured the mindsets about crime, homelessness, poverty and society perfectly. Though Chile is a much more prosperous country now. I was shocked at how perfectly groomed and dressed people would approach in train stations asking for coins. For a moment I thought I owed them.

I have been to Buenos Aires twice.

Argentinian woman here, just watched the video. Even when the video kind of exaggerates a bit (specially when talking about homeless people and insecurity) i think you misunderstood a few things. First: 1) Having a liberal society where people is open to show affection in public (that means couples kissing on the streets, for example, for what i have heard that is not normal in USA) and have casual sex doesnt mean it is irresponsible sex (one can have casual sex and take care of oneself, if you know what i mean). 2) Women abuse? Which parte of the video spoke about that? Of course abuse HAPPEN, but it is not considered acceptable or desirable (actually, abusing a woman literally means social death, at least from my point of view) 3) Yeah, poverty IS problem. We are having a tough time. Still we have hope things will get better eventually. and try to keep on living our lives the best we can.

In Argentina people spend time with friends and relax, time for cultivate and relaxing from daily stress is part of our culture, we spend time with friends or reading or doing exercise, we do our hobbies, we are not like on USA or Asian who runaway, we give important time to unstressed so that's why you will see many people on the parks or in places like bars or things like that, is just different culture where even you can relax while you are working, we are easy going

Hello from Argentina!! Inflation is still a problem here. If you are a girl you won´t like it. If you are a man, be careful with all the fake blondes we have here. Men are so silly that they cannot distinguish until it is too late and also, women here are after other men without any self respect for themselves. If I do not do anything and wait him to approach me, another women comes before and takes him. Also, they are full of envy.
