I am an Argentine American 🇺🇸 and I have bad luck with women. I attract the women whom i don’t find attractive. Too old. Or too young. Overweight. And sometimes Nubian and overweight. I think with the "coffe date" or "the magic trick" you should definitely do it if you've already reached a level of trust with the other person, but not exactly to "break the ice". If you've already earned simpathy and you can clearly see that the other person likes you, then go ahead, do your lil magic treak, make the other person laugh, talk a little bit more and when you're about to part ways and say goodbye, that's when you ask for the date.

No es por nada, pero con los Argentinos/as aprendes a leer las miradas, los gestos, las palabras claves en el momento justo, es estrenamiento, un acto de sociabilización habitual en las salidas grupales acá en argentina, para con otra persona tambien releva el aprovechar el hecho de hacer reir y reirte en conjunto, eso suma mucho, aunque tambien todo en su justa medida, porque como dijo el chabon al min 8:22, eso que tambien cuesta conseguir, es ostentoso, no economicamente sino sensorialmente, es decir, saber valorarse y no regalarse aveces tambien puede ayudar, mas allá de lo estético (aunque lo estico suma bastante, porque tambien te brinda seguridad de lo que uno es y quiere mostrar), sabes que tenes a alguien en frente que vale la pena, no para un género en especial sino para ambas partes al momento de conocerse... Cuando sos Argentino/a y salis a conocer a alguien es como todo eso, todo junto en todo momento, pero depende de vos llevarlo adelante y tener tus propias instrumentos que te sirven para llevar adelante lo que se busca... It isn't slang, it's a language called lunfardo that emerged during the big waves of migrants arriving Argentina at the beginning of the 20th century where people from all over Europe was living together and they started to mix their languages and criminals started to adopt and modify different words of different languages to create another language of the crime underworld, later it was gradually incorporated to the Argentine lexicon mainly through tango lyrics

Spanish’s the second fastest spoken language after Japanese. It’s mainly because consonant-vocal, consonant-scheme. Argentine Spanish is even faster, as wε drop intermediate or final consonants. Read Wikipedia article on this (preferably Spanish version, translated into English). But better approach them in English. Easy and slow. Most girls you could be looking for (top-tier) will understand (and even like it). Best regards.

Na. Lo de blanco no es verdad. Tenés que ser un tipo lindo, si no plus tener plata y sino plus hablar bien y estar bien vestido y si no plus lo de rubio o blanco. Argentine girls are overall more conservative. **BUT** IF YOU LOOK LIKE A TYPICAL AMERICAN (the Germanic looks) they could even approach you.
