It keeeeeps raining here in Tokyo 🌧
But recently we've had some more sun...so who knows...maybe we just had a little taste of the rainy June that has yet to come 😳
SO WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY PURCHASE LOL 😵 I'm pretty happy with it!!! But honestly I never wear jewelry so it's hard to get used to it haha...once I'm out though I don't really notice it 🤔
Also, I really enjoyed the Reserve Roastery a lot more this time around 😅 You may remember a few vlogs back I went during sakura season, but it was soo crazy and hectic compared to now! We were easily able to get a seat and the wait for drinks wasn't too long. I definitely recommend it if you're exploring the area already for a nice break! The drinks are a lot more expensive than a normal Starbucks though so it's not going to be a normal place I go or anything...especially now that I'm done with the dentist for a bit 👏

Feeling happy with my self improvement lately 👀 I have a lot of things I want to do to improve myself this summer!!! As in like, online courses and stuff 😆 What are you doing recently to improve yourself?? I think in Japanese it's 自分磨き 👩‍💻

Continuing on where my college Japanese class left off.. Tackling Kanji Look and Learn over the summer and started Genki II. Can't continue in the fall but made great friends with my prof and she knows I'm going to be self studying and told me to let her know through her personal email and cell phone if I get stuck on anything or have questions about things. She is a sweetheart and is currently there in Japan visiting her mom.

Hmmm I’d say learning Japanese at a pace I can handle with my busy schedule 😂 and reading books again! I kind of fell off of it but getting back into reading has been great!! Also that Apple Watch DEF seemed to fit your style! Hopefully there’s like a pink colored one that you can buy! That’d be cool!

I always love how chill your videos are! I've recently been struggling with my health and received a worrying (not threatening) diagnosis and it's so nice to be able to just sit down and chill with your videos. For frizz, wet down the flyaways just barely with a couple drops of water until your hair lays flat, then use a very light misting of lightweight hairspray. Unless you're moving a whole lot it should hold for most of the day!

It was pouring rain heavily two weeks ago on a Thursday of Hong Kong.🌧 It is worth to buy a lot as a reward for a hard work, Miss Allison, as the backstreets in Harajuku are fascinating to explore. Also, my mind has blown up, while looking at the largest Starbucks in Tokyo. Everyone can have lots of room to rest, work and relax with refreshing beverages. ☕️

Fellow frizzy haired American in Japan here! I tried all kinds of stuff like straight perm and keratin treatments, but what's finally working for me is just using (kinda expensive ^^; ) shampoo and conditioner I bought from the salon (Flowdia Sleek Light) and blowdrying my hair thoroughly after washing. It made a huge difference for me! I also sometimes use one of those hair touch up wands (looks like mascara, but it's a hair oil thing that sets flyaways). You can buy those for like 1000yen or so at places like Plaza and Tokyu Hands, I think! If you find anything else that works, please share!

I love that Apple Watch you’ve treated yourself with. It looks great on your wrist and I hope you’re happy with it 🤗 I know exactly how you feel about such an expensive purchase cause I’ve got myself a Garmin Smartwatch last Black Friday. I’m hiking a lot and I wanted something to easier navigate and not having to have my iPhone in my hands all the time. So I did a lot of research and came up with that watch to fit my personal preferences the best. But it cost a lot of money. So I debated for months with myself if I should buy. Now I’m really glad I did it. Yes it is a lot of money but sometimes you have to treat yourself to something really good. I’m so happy with it every time I’m on a hike. It makes navigating so much easier and much more fun. So I hope your treat makes you happy as well and that it’s exactly as you hoped it would be ☺️

does it rain a lot during rainy season? :o I've heard about rainy season from Japanese colleagues too! I'm from London so it sounds crazy to have actual functioning seasons! I'm moving to Japan in less than a month, Nakameguro looks like a chill little area, it's one of the places I'm considering basing myself in! Very cute video, I've transitioned over to the category of people who watch and are subscribed too!
