Life in Medellín (Laureles)

I visit a digital nomad in Laureles who is enjoying life in Medellin, and prefers to live in Laureles for it's bicycle access, cheaper cost of living, real estate and a good selection of restaurants and nightlife. We take a walk up to cerro volador and get out the mavic pro drone for some spectacular views of the city.

Sam, my dream is to live in Laureles one day, I’m currently in the United Kingdom. I have roughly around 30M cop currently and my plan is to try and find a job that just pays enough to live there. I want to become very minimalistic and just live life there, I’ve been there many times throughout the last 2 years. Is there anyone you can put me in talks with to get a job online at a call centre whilst I learn Spanish language, I’m in my mid 20’s and it’s my dream to live out there and give it my all! Thanks for your time!

As a foreigner living in Laureles for 4 yrs. My guess is 97% paisas and about 3% foreigners at the very most. If you call 3% = 100% full of foreigners your right lol! However, I do think this area will become hot spot foreigners to move into in time. Maybe 10% in 10 yrs. This doesn't take into account Airbnb's, hostels or hotel guest. They all come from outside of Medellin
