Hi Taylor awesome video again thanks, good job you have a heater in the truck or you would freeze. Awesome to listen to you two on the way back typical farmers taking tractors and fields. That sawdust is sure packed in on the truck. Was that a engagement ring?. What a beautiful little calves, hope that the weather warms up a bit for you. Thanks again take care and stay safe 👍 😊.

Hi Tay. Funny how the same thing has different names in different places, we call what you call a grabber, soft hands. We are in the middle of calving season here in Ireland too. I do not miss the Dancing Queens from milking cows. Most of the herd was very tame from being around many kids but you still had the dancers. We also got a cold snap and did not need it. I had hoped you would get that snow storm that went over us so you could go sledding but it probably is nice not having the snow to clean up. Tay I hope you, your family and Brent and family all stay safe and healthy.

Interesting to see your farm activities. Don't think I know a farmer (including myself) who isn't looking at farms/fields/machinery, etc. while driving on various trips. Nice calves...glad they're doing well. Good to be having them indoors out of the blustery weather!!!

Hi Taylor, the calves this year all look so good and i like the fact they are turning out different colours. You show us how passionate you are being a dairy farmer working with the cowes and their newborn calves. I recon Brent is so lucky having you working along side him and doing the chores the way his family have always done it. Keep enjoying and smiling doing you work, it is very refreshing for us watching. Chris from Victoria, Australia 🇦🇺.

Good morning Taylor. You have a great laugh and such a positive attitude about everything even when things don’t go the way you want them to. When I was growing up on our dairy farm I was always excited too when calving time came around and it was great to see those newborns . So how soon will Neal be fathering calves on your farm? From what you have said in your past videos he will have a big influence in the plans for your future herd. Looking forward to seeing more beautiful calves in your future videos. 🚜🐄🇺🇸😉

Some advice for you Taylor ha when at sawmill when parking truck leave wheel straight or turned in if truck rools back before you place block at wheel it will crush you against the wall
@kentlock5204 ай бұрын
A pull tarp with ratchets for that truck would only be ~ $600 installed & a LOT safer for Brent & a lot quicker. Ratchet tarps adjust to varying heights of payload. A tumble off the truck would be tragic

Hi Tay, can a small dairy farmer like yourself make a decent living or is money really tight? I'm just curious. Thank You
@tayfarms4 ай бұрын
Hi! Well currently the milk prices are very low and cost of production has skyrocketed so farmers big and small are struggling to make ends meet. Small farms I think are at a bit of an advantage right now because they can more easily make adjustments to save money. Plus labor costs ( and availability) is a big factor right now which most small farms don’t worry about because they do most of their own work. Thanks for commenting!
