Alright let me get technical about Life. Humanity's social nature is based on effortless effect (efficience). It has been efficient and continues to be so, to co-operate, instead of doing anything by yourself, therefore we have become social creatures as that is more efficient. This also means that hurting one another is probably non-efficient. As we are the living embodiment of natural efficiency itself. I mean, we are advanced biological efficient machines running on a sandwich. ==== So there is this first layer, which is our social nature based on efficience. So because of the second layer, a lot of people do not see the first layer any more. Can't see the forest because of the trees.
