Yeah this sequels most likely based off the save the bay route unless they’re not showing chloe as some crazy m night twist to the game i mean they don’t show who pointed the gun could it be chloe? Probably not but who knows 😂

I'm hoping that the parallel timeline that Max enters to save her friend, might be a universe with Chloe. And the character at the timestamp 1:29 , to me, resembles Rachel. So potentially this alternative timeline has an AmberPrice situation

FUCK SHE DOES LOOK LIKE RACHEL and they're kneeling, possibly to look at maybe someone's grave? So either Max is telling Rachel about the reality in the first game in which she's dead, or in this reality Chloe is dead and Rachel isn't, or maybe this is just a total shot in the dark and we'll have to wait and see

So I'm assuming this must be the sequel of the sequelest?! This is after the events of Life Is Strange one and two and True Colors? Obviously it has to be BEFORE Sean Diaz becomes 32 years old in prison in 2033! But I guess it needs a separate mentioning/confirmation!

@@ADITYARAJ-re3rk You're absolutely right!!! But all of 'em have time jumps from 6 to 15 years! So Life Is Strange 2 still remains as the furthest game timewise! Unless Life Is Strange Double Exposure takes place at the very end where Sean Diaz is super old and bailed out of prison! In that case Max is at least 35 years old since she's older than Sean in four years! I'm struggling because it's hard to tell by the trailer how old Max is going to be in Life Is Strange Double Exposure 🤔

I believe (and hope) that Max still has her rewind powers and that they have simply evolved since the last game, thus developing this timeline switching ability. The ability to travel back through photos, for example, also developed in the first game. I can also imagine that in terms of gameplay, the timeline switching ability replaces the photo time travel ability.

I don't think they'd do that because they made a comic about Save Chloe ending. That version of Max is way more powerful than Double Exposure Max because aside from being able to rewind, she can also visit other timelines at will.

Nah. I think this plays in a timeline where Max sacrificed Chloe.. which doesn't matter because there are numerous timelines where Max and Chloe are a happy couple.

My i never thought I'd see max again. Had trouble reconizing her. Looks beautiful🙂. New and improved graphics. And if chloe's not here than that must mean😔... it'll be such a shame not having the team back. She never should've been sacrificed. Looks like max was strong enough to fmgive up a friend. And for what? For most of which that wasn't worth saving? Doesn't even make sense. Happened b4 she died since max foresaw it.

It looks fun! Though I had a few thoughts. Hopefully we’ll get some more information soon. First, the new Max model really doesn’t look like old Max. I know technology has improved, but she looks too different for that to be the issue. Secondly, I’m curious to know more about the relationship aspects of the game. We know she has a friend, the girl who gets killed. But what about her other relationships? Are there other new friends? Is she in contact with the old characters? Will there be romance? Finally, how do the previous games affect it? If Chloe survives, is Max still friends with her? If she sacrifices Chloe, is Max still friends with Kate and Warren? What about the other two games?

Max is a bit older in this. The in game stills look a lot more like her than the cover art. Could think of it in a way that she started wearing make up and stopped wearing her hair in bangs, her nose is quite a bit bigger though which is weird, I hope they're not going the typical modern gaming route of trying to make a character have "ugly" features to be inclusive.

What if each of the two timelines also represent an ending from the first game? One in which Arcadia Bay was destroyed and one where it wasn't. So then both endings technically coexist.

Spoiler: Life is Strange 4 is a sequel from after Max chose to save Chloe over Arcadia Bay. It's highly likely that Jefferson - throghout the game - will finally be perceived as the true hero. The Prescotts hired Jefferson to catch the time traveler who will destroy Arcadia Bay. It was hinted in a deleted audio recording that Nathan was screaming: "I know that the storm will come", hinting that Nathan had time travel powers. If you can remember, in the Bonus episode in Before the Storm, where we play as young Chloe and young Max, at the end of this bonus episode Chloe plays an audio recording of Max, and it was heavily implied that it was future Max - who time traveled back - to make that recording, hinting that Max will time travel back one last time to save Arcadia Bay and fix the ending

Hi Dom! I'm so excited that we are finally getting a sequel to Life is Strange featuring Max Caulfield and she looks at least 3 years older then she was in Life is Strange during the events at Arcadia Bay. I think she might be around 21 years old at this point in Life is Strange Double Exposure. Mostly I can't wait to see how this murder mystery plays out and the fact that you get to choose each step along the way is awesome! I love games where you get to make choices and how it alters the storyline depending on the choices you make during your playthrough of the game as well.💖

Damn! Max looks gorgeous! Like she is insanely beautiful. The glow-up is real.😂 Plus, I love the two parallel timeline thing. It looks awesome. Like the comic book narrative, but better. Also, she said "I swore I'd never use my powers again", so I'm assuming this is "Bay over Bae" Max Caulfield.

In my opinion I know I'm going ahead with myself, but this sequel spin off. With just Max, that's where they can test Max powers, and later on they can just say Max can go to different timelines, where they can do Max and Chole again. This is my opinion because there's 2 endings, maybe there trying to find a way to test the fan base with this game, maybe make Max and Chloe sequel if it's possible?

Oh man, getting to play as Max again, totally epic. But does this mean Sacrificing Chloe is the canon choice? Or wait, is this Max actually the Max we played in the first game? Or is it another version of her and the dimension we visit is the one from the first game?

Nopers!!! Cloe is dead here. And Max doesn't lose powers if the "save city" ending was chosen! She always had them. Max just discovered she can mess with time in episode 1!
