Paul Rodriguez, also known as “P-Rod” was recognized as a prodigy at the young age of 14, only two years after he started skating. His consistency, effortless style and persistence on his board led Paul to travel far from his home town of Northridge, CA to the City Streets around the world as a part of the legendary City Stars team. His passion for skating and filming with his friends led to his breakout part in Logic 6 in 2000, Street Cinema in 2001 and landed him Rookie of the Year in 2002 for his part in Tranworld’s video production “In Bloom.” He turned pro later that year.
Paul bought his first skateboard at the age of 12. When he’s not skateboarding, Paul enjoys studying the lives of influential individuals, including his favorites such as Alexander the Great and Bruce Lee.
Paul currently lives in Los Angeles.

@@Prod84skate I'm in a similar place in life. 32 years old, haven't skated much since I broke my leg when I was 16 kickflipping down a 10-stair. The skate community in Omaha, NE, is very solid. We have a DIY park with guys who know how to pour their own concrete and there is a lot of collaboration about how we want it to look, like, how much transition, hips, benches, etc.

I fell out of skating for 15 years and remember skating around Paul being slightly younger. I attended Birmingham high and remember watching you skate at the Ralph’s. Ran into a BATB and watching those I’m like dam go back and feed that L to Jamie lmao. Pick up skating after a 20 year hiatus. I'm about to turn 37 next month. I realized back when i did skate that i was riding backwards. Now since i started back up last summer I've been riding in the right way and can land a couple trick that I couldn't before. I've been debating on getting a new board with either a double nose, or a double tail. Which one should i get? (Also, i need to drop a few pounds since i can't stay in the air long enough for the board to finish the trick)
