This was family values. No kids bitching that they didn’t get a $1300 cell phone, $600 game consoles. We were happy to get action figures, clothes, books, and simple things. But always looked forward to the family being together. This new generation would be so disappointed while we were so happy! Btw , my mom had those damn wooden back chairs. So uncomfortable lol. Ty for sharing your memories and taking me back to a happier and simpler time. 🙏💜

No doubt. We used to have this old wedding video of my aunts.. as people started passing away (especially the older people in the video), I'd go back and watch it and think of them. Idk what happened to that video. No telling.

Sounds like Skid Row 18 and life playing at 10:24!!! They played that song on MTV every damn day in the late 80's !!! I was 17 when this was recorded !! Great memories!!

This video is priceless now, the 90s was such a beautiful decade I remember opening gifts on Christmas with my parents, my aunts and all my cousins and now we rarely see each other 😢🤧

Wait till the teeny hoppers of 2019 see themselves in 30 years. I know at this point in 1989 I was 13 years old . I wasn’t looking any further than 1990 into the future. I have a few videos from the early 90s I’d love to upload someday. Mine would be from a small town Texas viewpoint😁

Es costumbre todos hablan Ingles en los estados unidos no es Mexico. Lo que si es triste es que por completo no sepan español como muchos de ascendencia Mexicana y mas triste tambien que la lengua indígena de nuestras raices Mexicanas no la sabemos.
