While docked in Saigon, there was this junk that daily pulled up to the side of the ship to sell goods. The lady on the junk was the best salesperson I've witnessed. Had a warm smile and good disposition about her. Always said if I had a business, she would be the one I would hire first

these people are born and grown up there so they can build a type of resistance to most things i wonder if the west was like that could we adapt? they are doing the best they can with what they have got admire them for it we in the western world are ✌️😍spoiled for everything.

Not everyone in the West is spoiled. But everyone in the West benefits from benevolent people trying to protect the territory and their river systems. These Vietnamese people survive on a Mekong which has been used and polluted by 6 countries upstream, plus their own country. They don't control anything.

Great video, they use that river for everything, can well imagine how polluted it is, wash in it, use it as a toilet, spit in it and throw their rubbish in it too. Interesting how trade and commerce flourish on the rivers in the poorer countries of Asia.

That poor river!🙁It's a dumping ground for everything. Much like the Gangi in india with all the dead bodies burned in there. I would never drink from either of them.

If I visited this place on this river l. Wouldn't eat or drink or even touch anything these people have l would not go for a ride on one of those small boats neither , Some of that nasty trash, garbage, puke ,pee, poop, toxic chemical waist contaminated water could accidentally splash on my skin or in my hair then I would have to sanitize my my whole body head to toes with 91% alcohol'
