In this video, I wanted to take a moment to share a personal update with all of you. As you may have noticed, there's been a slight slowdown in content on the channel recently. I want to assure you that this is not the end; it's simply a necessary pause. Lots to come. It's my hobby and I love it. Hi Martin - glad to see another video. Redundancy is not fun but you often find it opens an opportunity that you would not have taken from a safe stable job so good luck with that.

Hi Martin. Sorry to hear about your tribulations. Hope your dad is well. Great that you have such a positive attitude. I am also hunting for a job at the minute so I know what it feels like. If you want a change of scene, maybe a weekend camp in the snow and ice in Finland might appeal? Change of scene, etc. Have a think about it, you'd be most welcome!

Good luck with the job hunting. Reminds me why I became self employed. Few employers have any loyalty anymore so I thought I'd prefer to take the risks myself than have someone else decide what I'm doing every day and whether to keep me in employment.

I've been through it. At the time it was very stressful with a lot of unknowns. I can honestly say it ended up being really positive for me. The company I was in had become quite toxic. More so than I realised. I ended up with a much better job in a far nicer organisation. Best of luck to you Martin. 👍

Hey man, sorry to hear about the job but I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, one door closes and another will open. Glad to hear your dad is on the mend, sounds like as like he had a rough year. Never got a ticket for the Tom Crean but I might just come down for the craic if the date works! Look after yourself man and don’t worry about the videos, we’ll still be here when you get back at it. Good luck!

It’s never a bad idea to pause & reflect during life crises. Redundancy is a difficult thing to go through with all its associated uncertainty and worry. It’s not that work and family issues get in the way of your video making. They simply require all your attention and disrupt it for a while. Good luck with the new job search and thanks for what you do on KZfaq. I enjoy your videos very much and look forward to you getting back in the swing again. Nil deperandum.

Checking in! Hey I had that stove! I really like your coffee walk videos....very zen. I'd not worry about it being a big production :-) I was made redundant from my first ever job afer a ouuple of years! So I know how weird it can be.
