My long time best friend dumped me the morning that my husband of 42 years almost died of a massive stroke. She was pissed that I hadn't reached out to her for 5 months. But our history is that she NEVER calls me, so it's kind of baffling. But it's a dealbreaker to be nasty the day my husband almost died. Almost three years later and not word one from her.

I recently had a friendship breakup too and it ended really bad 😅 I feel like I’m in your ex best friend’s shoes now since I’m the one getting married but it never crossed my mind to invite my ex friend. So I’m thinking she still finds you important no matter what happened between the two of you and I think that’s a kind gesture in itself! Things may not go back to the way they were before but it’s really up to you to decide if the friendship is worth a little salvaging somehow ❤

Hi Miki, that sounds like a super tough situation. Having been through a similar situation, I’d gently caution that while it’s awesome you’re both open to reconciling, that her wedding might not be the best place to do it. Maybe meet for coffee after and look through photos together! I think any closure should be achieved when you’re both in a situation with equal footing. Not one a guest and one a bride, that might make things a little tough ❤

Hi Mikiii, Regarding to your friendship situation, i think the best way to decide to go to the wedding or not, is to ask yourself if you would regret it in the future. I tend to think that way when it comes to things I'm very unsure of.. I hope that helped, even a little bit!

I feel like everyone comes to that point, where you have a fall out with your friends, for me it was my on my 18th birthday where I had a fall out with my best friend, whom i knew when we were babies. Which is somewhat sad and I won't go into the specifics, but we are no longer best friends, even though I was never really angry about it and I do not resent him at all. But I don't think we will ever get to that point anymore as I am no longer able to trust him anymore (once you lose my trust it's extremely hard to regain) and at the same time he is not even trying and I don't blame him as we have not much in common anymore. Same goes for me I am not really making any effort to build a new friendship with him. Even though I still sometimes talk to him and try to give him some advice as a friend just because I don't want him to ruin his life. But at the same time it doesn't matter to much as he is his own person and might have to do his own mistakes on his own. I think it's possible to reconcile with your ex best friend, but I don't think it will ever be the same. It mostlikely will become a new friendship. ❤ ----------- Really hope that you are still issue loving yourself, you are great and I hope you know that! Honestly, I feel like your "friend" just wants more people at her wedding. She might stop talking to you again after the wedding. That's what my "friend" did to me. She just needed more people for her wedding so I went, and now we're not talking anymore

I recently had a friendship fall out too...I tried reaching out but it felt like she didn't want me in her life anymore. I was mad and sad about it first. I realized that it wasn't fair to have one sided friendship either. I wish her the best. With you and the ex best friend's wedding invitation, I would honestly feel so awkward about it. But if you feel like you're in a good place with her now, I would go to the wedding. Anyway, it's up to you.. you know what's best for yourself 😄

So weird. I'm going through a very similar situation with my ex best friend, except it's been maybe 1.5 years and not 4 years. So...no advice just sending love and support for whatever you decide is right for you. 💕

For the friend situation, I would ask to meet up before for a casual lunch or dinner and see how you feel after that...rather than seeing her again for the first time at her wedding where she'll be too busy with her own things and won't have time to have a proper in-person convo with you.

It depends on what happened between you two. Why did she unfollowed you? Why suddenly reappear? Real friends stick with you through thick or thin. Not just when you have nothing. The big question is to ask yourself is Was she there when I'm successful?

I named my car as well when i first got it i didn't know others did the same 😄 I've let go of a friendship at around the age of 25 that i had since 1st grade because it did not support my values as a person and having kids i also have to consider how it would affect them and at the end i didn't see a positive outlook. If the friendship brings your standards and future down it's best to let go. A friendship should support your dreams and overall well-being.

I have 11 first cousins and 11 second cousins so I usually hangout with them

College is hard to make friends usually people move and make there own way usually I grow out of it … at 30 I have a big family and those are my friends

So curious about Ritual! I’ve seen it so much but didn’t know much about it.. Also, when it comes to friendships- I think people grow and change especially during different phases of their lives. If the friendship was something you still want now, if it was me, I would give it another chance! Everyone is different though, so it’s all on how you feel and if you even want to rekindle the friendship.

Yea I had a friendship fallout. I offended her many years ago in a small way then I apologized to her. She said she accepted my apologies but it actions shows otherwise. She lives about 6 hr plane ride away from me, so whenever she comes to my area to visit her family she never notifies me that she’s in town. Didn’t notify me about her engagement or wedding. At this point I feel like it’s such a one sided relationship, I’m tire of it so I’m just going to stop trying to always be the one to reach out to her.

Imo, that's a big responsibility to ask for out of the blue for the fact that you guys haven't spoken with one another in a while. She could have at least hashed things out with you before. You're really successful and people will try to get a hold of you in any way they could to benefit themselves. It all depends if you think she is coming from a genuine interest in the relationship you guys have and if it's worth your time and effort.

Not trying to sound negative but she knows you're KZfaq successful and in some sort of way, wants to announce that she's getting married...first. I would just let things go and cherish those memories. Maybe just send her an item of her wedding registry, too. Thanks for sharing this with us.

I had a friendship fallout without any fights. We were friends for almost 20yrs and were best friends for quite a bit of time. She just started ignoring me after I got married. So maybe she didn’t like the fact that I got married first. Because we never had a fight. I don’t think it’s ever gonna be the same for you and your friend especially when it’s been a couple of years since you guys talked. But if I were in your shoes, I would have gone so I won’t regret. Who knows , maybe you guys will end up being best buddies again. It’s pretty big of her to initiate it, so that means she values the friendship. Not everyone is willing to let go of that pride. Just saying, as you grow older, it’s very hard to find good friends.

My college friend unfriended me because I did not go to the BlackPink concert with her. I wish her the best. But that means that there were huge differences between us. Even though we could be friends in college, that does not mean that we can always be friends throughout life. Things have changed and we have both changed a lot. So I will say we no reconcile because it's meaningless.

What do you mean how it all went down. If you and your best friend didn't sleep with each others boyfriends and or no one ended up in jail than this is drama that should not come between best friends.
