Regarding babies (and marriage), I keep telling single childless ladies to remain that way! Babies and hubbies are unnecessary and a delay nje. I got married at 23, child at 24 and since then my only achievement was a Master's (cum laude) and that's it. I used to be ambitious but a family is demanding and had to settle for a normal analyst job in government instead of the research scientist I wanted to be

Your church clothes become your work clothes. To this day that's how I roll. So my wardrobe categories are: casual (for outings), home leisure, weddings (glitsy dresses/traditional) then work/church

This is exactly me right now. Renting a room out of state for an accounting internship. I don't know anyone where I am either. I'm upstairs too and it's so hot, as soon as I go downstairs in the kitchen I can actually feel the air conditioner 😂send help😭 It's different, back home people are friendly and you can have a conversation with a stranger while out like they're one of your cousins. Then you end up going to an event or lunch with them the next weekend. Where I'm at now, they can tell people are transplants/tourists and just overall the culture isn't friendly. I guess I'll search some meetup groups or something

11:49 aii Westernisation sometimes. People must chill with these pronouns. Its so impractical and now they're forcing these teachings on 5 year olds with little to no emtional intelligence to even be able to choose, decide (or grow) for themselves. Like What?.
