Matt will sort it, generally they are tough things. Fingers crossed it's a cheap and simple fix. At the end of the day despite the issues you'll spend less on this than any other exotic car of similar performance.

Hi Chris. Hope you get it sorted soon, and look forward to your next update 😀. Personally, I'm very jealous of you - in a good way - it looks absolutely fantastic. Someone suggested you buy a Exige S3, which would make the perfect on road comparison as the Lotus comes to the end of it's production run. Over to you AutoCar or maybe a famous You Tuber??

Most M12s are now 20 years old so things like alternator wiring, main fuse etc would have needed to be upgraded over time. So your best bet is to see DTB (Dave Baseley) near Mallory or Noble Motorsport in Chesterfield, else Mole Valley in Surrey. All the best with the car!

So it needed a new battery and starter motor. Hardly the end of the world, 🙄

Wiring harness, suspension changed, chassis machined to fit suspension, exhaust removed and refitted, new manifolds, PAS hoses, oil feed pipe and then general service items . Not the end of the world but also not a quick fix .
