Tip for perfectly fit TV: add strong double sided tape or sticky tack to the bottom of the tv feet. One could also add wood trimming that can act as a tiny fence. Hope this helps prevent accidental TV falls when one hits the shelf by accident :D

The rental costs so much it sets you back quite a bit when you want to purchase a house in the future.. I think it's alright for short term but renting till you get your own house is.. quite tough IMO

I want to rent with my friends and it seems fun to be adulting together. BUT I know cant tolerate people's mess and I want to buy my own place when I'm in my 30s. So, saving the money to buy and renovate for my future home that I can say its mine would be a better option.

As landlords - yes more demand for our hdb and it's pushing our rent even higher. Rental have gone up between 100-400 ever since Covid.

The amount they have to pay for rent is the comfortable range for earning adults who are single and may want to get their own home in future. Rental now so bloody expensive! The moment I see above $1000 for 1 person, I swipe. Currently I stay in a 2 room flat with my partner paying only $1250. We got the whole unit and we refuse to pay more. 😂
