A good recommendation is to ask the users who use the props to take it home if the department is unlikely to use it again.

I always ask myself, would I use this in the next 3 months? If my answer is no, I directly throw away no matter what cuz you'll only feel the sad about it on the spot, you confirm forgot about it a few days later 😂
