I completely heard this message today. Pride has been my kryptonite, and I need to find a way to disarm it. Please pray for me, as I embark on this journey of letting go. i did not know I struggled with Pride until today, I have so many sins that I still cover up in Shame and not knowing how to fix it, I ask God for forgiveness. I lift myself up over others and don't realize I am doing it. I do not want to displease God I want to turn in my Shame and receive Grace. Please Lord I humbly ask you to help me to change, I can not do it with out you Search me God and Know my Heart, Search me and Know my anxious thoughts. Point out any offensive way in me and lead me in the way everlasting Psalm 139:23-24

I prayed last night for god to lead me so that I may know the way and that no matter what it is I will happily and joyfully and with him take those steps.. I'm at a Y in my life and those roads probably never cross again.. they could both exist and I have a real desire to do both.. I'm married and it's a sort of a career and lifestyle choice.. I've already worked so hard for one of those paths, and am just now at the point of no going back and it's like I'm trying to pause my life so I dont have to take another step. .

Thank you for this message! :) It's such a hard thing to recognize pride but i'm thankful that God will show us if we humbled ourselves and ask for His guidance! may we be freed from the deceit that comes with pride and live a free & humble life in God :)
