I honour Life Church, along with every single beautiful soul who is a part of this amazing communion. I am so eternally grateful that you have chosen to share your church online. I am apprehensive and reluctant to visit a real church. I am polluted and corrupted by unbelief, but every time I see these videos, I remember how infinite the width, depth and height of our Heavenly Fathers' omnipotent love. I have so many doubts and uncertainty about faith. Who am I to claim a belief in God? A worthless sinner who cannot even fathom or comprehend the glory of our God, our Great Creator? Regardless of my confusion and doubts, I can feel your genuine love for your Church, and the honour you give your church makes me want to honour God with all of my heart and soul. My heart and soul are corrupted by sin, and I cant stop condemning myself. But something about your sermons seem to make me feel at peace. Even if for a little while. I feel the holy presence of God when I listen to you. You have no idea how grateful I am for strengthening my faith, and increasing my honour for God. Please pray for me that my doubts may be overcome with the power of the mercy, love and truth of the Word, that is Jesus Christ. Sharing my take-away notes. 📝 atimos (greek): to dishonor, to treat as common or ordinary. time (greek): to value, respect, or highly esteem; to treat as precious, weighty, or valuable. Respect is earned. Honor is given. Honor builds up and dishonor tears down. 4 Different avenues in Scripture in which we are told to be honorable or we should honor: 1. God (re. Proverbs 3:9) 2. Our parents (re. Exodus 20:12) 3. Those in authority (re. Romans 13:1-7) 4. Honoring Christ was a choice and god constantly throughout the Bible talks about faith being the choice of the people that it is the power of their free will something god gave as gift to have as the only more powerful thing than him when it comes to you. He can not force you to accept the healing of miracles so when you don’t they will not work

How are we to honor abusive parents? Or someone in a position of leadership that may be living a lifestyle of sin? Ignoring these things certainly isn’t Biblical. The Bible calls us to hold one another accountable as Christians - especially leaders. Accountability should lead people to become more Christ-like. The Bible says, “Open rebuke is better than secret love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful” (Pro. 27:5, 6).

Hi D20 - Pastor Craig isn't recommending ignoring abuse or sin. I don't believe that god exists but i can't really disprove it. So I'm an agnostic, but I do believe that honor, is one of the things that i find lacking a lot in today's society. Though it's one of the things I think we need the most. Right now we got people complaining about each other because they feel disrespected or feel something was not right to do or say according to their moral code. But that is not how you solve problems, you solve problems by figuring out what caused that to happen and talk over it and see their point of view with respect. Not shouting or fighting, i do agree sometimes it clears the air to fight and ''fixes'' it for one person but not really for the other one. All I'm saying is, give people a chance at redemption, because there is maybe a no.1 for one day, but for everyday in a life? that doesn't exist. So the guy that doesn't look good and has worn out shoes. Maybe he was doing better then you are right but things happened and he got there. If you want the people you see, the country you live in prosper, the individuals need to prosper. So why bring someone down, if you're bringing us all down. Maybe try talking or helping others next time if you wanna make this place a better world. :) - Give and you shall receive (Idk where that quote is from but I learned it)

That's something that's central to Christianity--we believe we were all made in the image of God, and as a result, everyone is deserving of respect and honor. In this day and age, people don't honor. They don't value honor. When God was taken out of the schools and more places, the outcome is confusion and disorder. When people repent and turn back to God 🙏, we will see a complete turnaround in the outcome for God's Glory and for the better.

Missed the Cultural Shift , stayed simple. 1st Peter 2:10. Not just grace, yet Mercy, given your life before others, permenant scar across my face saving another person in Car Accident. I'm just a simple person named Samuel Morrison Hodnett II USAF Veteran. Thank Lord God of gods. JESUS CHRIST still intercedes at the Throne for Mercy. Still homeless none the less.
