I tried the PC version long time ago, but I don't remember, does it have aiming same as like in Doom, where you can't change Y-axis? Yeah, the balancing is completely off and even the ammo pick-ups don't make sense, unless using all weapons unlock. As in, there's often times ammo for weapons you can't have at that point in time. And yeah, recycling same levels multiple times really becomes obvious.

@@DfactorLongplaysweapon ammo being available before the weapons themselves: I'm not certain, but I think the order of weapon unlocks is supposed to be randomised, however this rarely happens. On one occasion I unlocked a weapon before a radar upgrade while playing the game normally, I may have also gotten the laser early once. As an experiment, I used the level warp to a later point without upgrades and started upgrading from there, the unlock order was different and each laser was unlocked in succession.
