Carved from polystyrene / styrofoam, with a render of a 2 part plastic mix and painted. Created for a promotional commercial for the mobile game app: Army Men Strike.

I see that no one is wearing a mask, aren't you afraid of getting polystyrenitis ?? ( an inflamation of the polystyrene gland, very tricky to cure! ) great video ,,, what a great thing to pu in a rich boy's garden :!!!

Hey Mighty Mapper. Our client was indeed Army Men Strike. So you have one of our creations that you can see in the video :) how did you come by that of you don't mind us asking? And presumably it's a garden piece now?

Weird question, but is this coating fireproof? Like if you were to make an ashtray out of foam with this coating, would it resist the ash? Or at least the smoke from a cigarette?

alx64gr probably not....i think it that case you’d probably want to go with a silicone coating as the final layer

why not 3D printing which will save a lot of your labor work

Once again. Its the carving we enjoy. Making something by hand is so much more enjoyable. Not only that, FAR less expensive, and FAR quicker than 3D printing. Plus changes can easily be made if the client wants to
