bro i use UAD plug ins.. an i master in a seperate session.. but what plug ins do i need to master? i use currently the shadows hills compressor.. uad limiter and pultec EQ.. is that enough? because my beats sound ok..but i can tell that my beats are not as good as alot of top online producers..

Raouf Beats the first upload you put on beat stars is what gets sent to the artist. You wanna leave headroom. Then you upload the tagged mp3 that plays on your site. You wanna tag that and have the limiter on so it’s loud

Yes because your showcasing your beats , you only want to have it just mixed for when they buy it so they have headroom to mix there vocals with the beat rather than have it master leaving no headroom in return artist can't put vocals on it without the song sounding squashed

Mastering is good for when you showcase your beats and songs. But leave it unmastered for rappers when selling beats. And mean send the artist and unmastered version as well a mastered version.

Julian Haas your 808 is fighting. You need to choose better sounds, level it better, add a small side chain and you’ll be fine

Also make sure that if you're using something like a 808 kick that it cuts itself whenever it hits.

Infidel Productionz anything under 0 db is good. -3db is fine! Just watch your meters and make sure you don’t clip , you can always turn it up with the limiter at the end!
