I've been watching Mike's build video series so this came as a surprise that it's all done. Having now seen it "finished", the build videos will still be useful to see. A fantastic accomplishment, especially given the compressed time line to build it! Very impressive!

no, especially not if its something like this with no ventilation(also where would he store the wood?). A heater would be a acceptable substitution. but if i had to guess that AC probably works as a heater as well

So much nicer than most vans, trucks, campers, etc. Has everything one might need and then some as well as being wide enough two people can "pass" in the hall at the same time. Not claustrophobic at all. Happy new year!

The 3 months 18 hrs. working to convert from an army truck to camper outstanding. One could work a week or 2 max 3,4. Love and passion with determination huge planning and dexteriousness otherwise could not be able. How much does this cost without labor? And labor 18hrs x 90=1800 approxiametely 14 dollars for an hour 8000 USD plus 5-6K for the buying cost of the vehicle plus parts 35.000 USD? Could worth I believe 60K in 2020 before pandemic!❤

wow what a Rig! its like a giant Luxury Range Rover ! Really nice design, love the living space the kitchen and bedroom elements and the Garage is a gamechanger. The way the gentleman put a "chase" permanently in the living space so he can install runs from the garage to the living space is an innovation ive long dreamed about, although in my design iwas tyhinking more of a bulkhead, but yeah what a cool smart innovative design element. I love seeing thje state of the art being advanced by people not specifically in the trades but excelling beyond compare anyway. I find it inspiring and im in the trades! Bravo to you Sir! Cheers thank you for showing this great work of art and living.

I followed behind one of these to Rosevelt Lake in Alaska and his tire ruts were so big in the soft road that it kind of made me mad. Also he got stuck and destroyed the poor road. Definitely shouldn’t have been there in my opinion. It was cool to see it though. He was traveling pretty fast too which was impressive.

I used to buy things and build things with this mindset. I have finally realized that there is nowhere to actually use this stuff anymore. Not in the US anyway. I bought a dual sport motorcycle thinking i'd like to go cross country on dirt. There is no dirt anymore. Wanted to take a long 4-5 day trip on 4 wheelers, no trails long enough anywhere, not that allow camping. Sure you can take it down to south america or africa somewhere, but then you become a target.

great but make the next machine with a low instep with variable height springs or whatever so a motorcycle can be driven in easily. also make it possible to walk from the garrage to the reast of the house. also slap solar on the side because of snow and low sun in norther and southern places. also make the driver cabin accessible from the house because of comfort and bears and stuff. also have a totally enclosed waste system. poop gets burnt or turned into biogas first. water gets filtered and osmotically filtered and drunk again. perhaps by boiling it if you need for marketing purposes .distilling. but multiple filters including osmois and remineralisation should be it. do some uv and silver too.

In a nutshell. Tread Lightly overboard. Angry locals. Angry overlanders. Because public dirt roads demolished. Roads get repaired and eventually closed. But not for the so-called "Fauna and Flora Preservers", happy for the unpaved roads now solely open for them, the locals and probably some with an expensive permit. Nice rig though.
